My husband and I will eternally be grateful to Dr. Coffler and his team. We have two beautiful, incredible babies because of them. Our embryos are slow growers. We had two embryos to freeze at day 6 and HRC decided to watch them another day until day 7. Well we got 2 more embryos and one of them is a healthy 6 month old baby boy sleeping soundly upstairs. Unfortunately we had to move out of the area and have had to start at a new clinic in another state (who won’t even be entertain the idea of watching embryos until day 7). They don’t hold a candle to Dr. Coffler - would recommend 100%

We had an amazing experience with Dr. Coffler and have a pretty equally, now, 10 year old as a result!

I don't think I ever left a review for Dr. Coffler so here is our experience. We did a full IVF treatment cycle with Dr. Coffler in 2013. We ended up with 10+ perfect embryos. 2 embryos were transferred and one split which resulted in twin girls. Unfortunately I delivered early and my littles did not survive. We have since transferred 2 embryos in 2014 and 2016 which resulted in one beautiful girl and one handsome boy. Dr. Coffler was kind, knowledgeable, and always listened to our concerns. Instructions were thorough and easy to follow. Harvest and transfer day were smooth. I would recommend him to anyone! I have nevwr forgotten the kindness he and his staff showed us. Thank you for our beautiful babies Dr. Coffler!

What struck me about Mr. Coffler was his honesty and straightforwardness from day one one what exactly I needed to do in order to improve my odds. He was able to give me a clear roadmap from our first consultation . This was so helpful because my anxiety and worries were lessened through the process. With his assistance and guidance I just found out that I am pregnant! I know beyond a shadow of doubt this would not have been the case without the great care and guidance I received and I am forever grateful !

I had my first meeting with Dr.Coffler today. He knows what he is talking about and he does a very well rounded job when suggesting a screening since we don’t truly know what’s going on yet. I’m glad I’ll be working with him

I am currently a surrogate and my first time in this office was because they were my monitoring clinic. My original ivf clinic is in Newport Beach. Long story short my wife and I wanted to get our own journey started and I chose HRC Oceanside over my surrogacy clinic because not only are the prices more affordable but the girls in this office are amazing! They are always so helpful and are fun to be around! Ofelia makes it super easy to get appointments made and angel has literally not only made our experience delightful and memorable but she has also been so supportive through our journey so far. Dr Coffler is also the sweetest doctor. I’ve had my share of rude drs that have horrible bed side manners. My surro dr was rude and so was his staff. One of the reasons I chose hrc over them. Overall We are so glad we chose this office to help us grow our family!

Finding out we couldn’t have a baby on our own was one of the hardest times in my life. Dr. Coffler was recommended by numerous people as I did my research. At our first consult he was very informative and to the point. He had a plan and we even started the ball rolling that day! I’m forever grateful for him and the HRC Oceanside staff for helping us to bring our miracle baby to existence. I remember our last sit down with him prior to our transfer, he said “you will want another baby for a sibling when you have this one.” I silently thought “I’m not even pregnant yet, he’s crazy!” Haha well here we are and my son is now 11 months old. I wish so much that we still were living in San Diego, because as Dr. Coffler knew, I’m ready for a sibling for my boy! I would recommend him to anyone, and do quite often. We’re forever thankful, The Jutras Family ❤️

HRC Fertility was a gift to me and my husband! Dr. Coffler and Angel exceeded our expectations in every way.We came here for a second opinion after a terrible experience with our first clinic. Dr. Coffler was patient and understanding. He explained why he was doing each treatment and how things could be modified after a cycle failed. He seemed confident and capable and he let us do treatment at our own pace. He also explained why different procedures were necessary prior to starting treatment, which was helpful to know. Dr. Coffler is compassionate too. I even scheduled a hysteroscopy procedure with him and went to the appointment, but was overwhelmed and cancelled it as I wasn't mentally ready. I felt so bad for wasting his time. Dr. Coffler called me that afternoon to check in, reassure me, and ask if he could help. So thoughtful! Another time I had emailed the nurse a question and Dr. Coffler called me and left a voicemail with a detailed answer regarding that question -- and this was on a Friday afternoon that he did that! Exceptional patient care.Angel is one of the most incredible nurses that I've met in my fertility journey and I've met many. Angel genuinely wants to help patients with whatever they need. She makes herself available. Email was such an easy way for us to communicate with Angel regarding our treatment, medications, appointments, etc. She responds quickly and she is so reliable! She even responded to us on a weekend once!I didn't see Dr. Coffler for monitoring appointments or bloodwork but I didn't mind that at all. I knew Angel would call me by the end of the day with instructions regarding next steps for treatment. I was also communicated with clearly and valued as a patient. This clinic is wonderful and made a world of difference in how we felt getting treatment for infertility. Thank you HRC!!

i feel compelled to write a review as HRC is our 4th fertility clinic (3rd for IVF) - so i have a good sense of how a clinic is supposed to operate at this point. we came to HRC because of a recommendation from someone we know who also had been trying for years. not only were we so pleased with the gentile honesty of dr. Coffler, but we were beyond impressed with the organization of everyone’s job responsibilities. i feel like after reading the reviews below we are speaking of completely different clinics. we have loved having a specific person who does our billing, and love angel who is our coordinator, and love malali (sorry if I spelled this wrong) who does our ultrasounds, and love ysenia who doesn’t miss my veins ever for bloodwork! i feel like their process is super efficient! okay to clinical recommendations, we are still working on bringing a baby into our family and have high hopes! dr. Coffler is very cautious with stims and does not over stimulate! he does the retrievals in Newport Beach but honestly every time we went it was such a quick hour drive, and so worth it because the facility is gorgeous and so prepared. dr. Coffler answers all our questions thoroughly and encourages us to ask questions! we feel safe! and most importantly we feel encouraged and cared about! i hope to be able to add to this review soon that we are bringing life into this world! for now we are thankful for HRC and dr. Coffler!- lauren & nick

I went to Dr. Coffler for a second opinion because he was recommended by Fertility Center of California, Sperm Bank. But, before I went to him it was important that I research clinics that were LGBTQ friendly. I read and saw welcoming flags that this clinic would be a good place to possibly get advice. I was wrong! He is as homophobic as it gets. The whole conversation was unwelcoming, rude, and demeaning. Luckily, I have experienced this kind of discrimination many times in my lifetime and was able to keep my composure while I stared at a homophobic smug facial expression for the rest of our time together. Very sad to write a review such as this especially, when he was recommended by a solid and respectable company.This is an updated post.Right after I my post Dr. Coffler called me personally and offered a lengthy and compassionate apology. From the tone of his voice and the words that he used... I believe there was a misunderstanding. He stated that he would do whatever he could for my family towards bringing a new baby in our lives. I believe we all have bad days and are entitled to second chances.
