I first met Dr. Wood when I was at the dungeon at Scripps Hospital in Encinitas. I was literally on death's door when Dr. Wood found out I was in the wrong dept, that I should've been in ICU because of all the blood I lost and the pneumonia I had. She instantly took charge of me, ordered all the necessary blood tests, CT scan, blood transfusions and antibiotics I needed to start my recovery. I call her my Guardian Angel because if it weren't for her quick actions I might not have lived to tell about it. Thank you Dr. Wood for caring enough for me, a stranger, that you did not leave my side until you knew I was in cable hands. Sincerely, Virginia Garcia

Dr. Robin Wood and her staff's attention to detail was worth noting... from explaining the complex medical procedure in Layman's term, providing my wife with clean and warm blankets in the holding area to assuring and re-assuring us during the entire procedure. She is a confident, experienced doctor with a good sense of humor and a positive radiant personality to match it. I most strongly recommend Dr Wood to my relatives and friends.
