Stephen M. Dent's Online Review Report Card

This is my second time seeing Dr. Dent. Dr. Dent and his staff are professional and kind. Unfortunately, office staff can sour an experience even if you like the doctor, but that is not the case here. Dr. Dent was booked until the end of January but the staff was awesome and allowed me to take his last-minute cancellation. Dr. Dent takes a conservative approach which I very much appreciate. He is patient and does not try to rush you. He provides all options available and explains thoughtfully. I have frequent reoccurring sinus infections and we now have a plan in place on how to treat them. Thank you so much Dr. Dent and team!

Dr. Dent and his team were awesome. I recently had a surgery that went very well and I feel that I was in really good hands with Dr. Dent! He took the time to explain things and make you feel comfortable. Thank you for a great experience and a successful surgery, Dr. Dent (and team!)!

Dr. Dent did my surgery in May 2011. He went out of his way to tell me several times that if I ever, ever had trouble getting my thyroid medication now that my thyroid way removed by him, to contact him. Well, I am having major issues getting my medication to stay alive and I reached out with a letter to Dr. Dent. His office did not even give him the letter, and would not name the other doctor who just refused to give me the medicine unless I flew back to CA, took labs and met with them. It’s always about money. My husband had some scary heart test results last year so he went onto Medicare plus Supplemental. He is ok but they employers are not allowed to offer medical coverage to spouses if the employee is not covered. Insurance for myself would be $500 per month with a $6,000 deductible. I refuse to line insurance company pockets and pay all my doctor & lab visits too. My regular doctor moved to Germany and his practice started insisting they would not give me refills for my medication despite having good labs just five months earlier. I am 9 months away from being eligible for Medicare myself and hoped not to pay for two office visits ($500) and labs ($200-$300). They hippocratic oath is only as good as the system you work within - U.S. Medical Insurance industry. So, I will work my medication out so that I am lining jerks pockets with money. I will be U.S. medical insured in Jan 2023. I will use my Canadian birth certificate to get out of this screwed up country with a bad medical system.

Dr Dent was very informative before doing the test ensuring I knew what was happening each step of the way and asked a lot of questions. Overall great experience.

Been to 4 ear nose and throat doctors. Dr dent is the best one and gets to the bottom of the isues and has a solution for them. Very smart Dr too knows his stuff. And keeps up with new treatments also knows that allergies have a lot to do with his job. And offers oral allergy treatment. He is kind and really cares about his patients. I have never had any problems getting appointment with him so the other people on here need to look up who they are seeing there is a big difference between a pa and a Md

Not a good experience at all. Mr Dent seems more concerned about cramming in the most amount of patients (money) in a day than actually helping people. Waste of time. And money.

Friendly Staff, never a long wait. Great communication!

The office , other than an auditory exam, never looked into my ears. I complained of internal itching in the ears. My primary MD looked into the ears later that week and discovered I had eczema in both ears.
