List of Montage Medical Group - Carmel's Reviews
Prompt, efficient service. Covid safe seating.
Healthcare choices on the Monterey Peninsula are very limited and most residents seem to have to rely on the Montage Medical Group. This is unfortunate. Both my parents and my aunt (all in their late 80's -90's) must rely on this company's inability to offer even the very basics of health care. I'm further disheartened after reading these appalling reviews. I'm a patient (Kaiser) and an RN in SF and am acutely aware of the challenges when it comes to delivering quality care and this isn't what it looks like. This company has somehow monopolized the market and taken hostage the entire peninsula. I have tried to make appointments and contact the PCP's for various issues through their MyChart system and left 4 appointment requests and 3 messages to providers over the last several weeks and never received a reply either through their own MyChart system or via a telephone call. My provider through Kaiser calls me back or someone covering for them calls back within 24 hour and in my place of employment we are seeing patients and communicating with them throughout each work day. That is the benefit of having MyChart and an Electronic Medical Record. In addition, the whole "Concierge" service is an embarrassment! Montage Medical Group offers sub-standard care and merits some further investigation. National Health Care folks is needed now more than ever get out and vote.
i saw dr. Keiko Saito, it was one of the worst experiences i have ever had Practically walked out of the room and told me she couldn’t help me at all. I came in with extreme pains and she told me to do what i was already doing and i told her i needed help finding something that would help my problem. I also showed her exactly where one of my problems was and she could not find it at all and she didn’t even try to really find it. She talked insanely fast and i could barely understand the conversation we were having. I couldn’t keep up with her and she seemed to ignore absolutely everything i was saying. She didn’t not seem to care one little bit and seemed to just want to get out of that room with me as fast as possible. I never complain about things because i understand they have other patients, but that was absolutely awful. I would never see her again. When she left the room she got up and walked out, she did not tell me i was okay to go or anything so i was completely frustrated and confused at this point.
This “medical” group is a complete joke. Don’t waste your time on endless hold to be told you can’t get an appointment for 8 months. And this is for an existing patient who’s doctor has left the group. In fact, don’t live in Monterey if you expect to need any healthcare or elderly care services. And best advice is to leave the USA and go live in one of the many places in the world where you can get excellent healthcare. The medical industrial complex in America is broken, unless you are a CEO or shareholder.
I saw so many positive reviews about Mr Roseline Jason and I must confess that surely his a skilled professional trader and the best among all as his clients all said, he managed my account after I Invested $1000 and got a successful withdrawal of $15,200 within few days of my investment, up-till now am still so shocked and surprised "It always seems impossible until it’s done with Mr Roseline Jason your hard-earned money is 100% secured/Safe trust me you have nothing to lose or to be scared of at all,You can contact her via WhatsApp:+18134925347 Email:Roselinejason304@gmail.com

Update Calling Montage to get a hold of Dr. Cuinco again and trying to find out the process of who will care for my aunt when I have explained to them her husband recently passed away and we need to be properly informed of what has to be done to properly take care of her so she is in good hands.I was on hold first of all for over 13 minutes and I kindly asked them for a return phone call and told them nobody called us back.Receptionist insisted on the birthdate and I tried to give her name and that was not good enough for them when I was a day off with her birthday. I explained we need to know how to get her a doctor since she will move in August. Anyway, I'm on a "brief hold" and it would be nice to get some resolution for this! I explained to them we are not from the area and need to take care of this because we want her to be in good hands. Finally, they made an appointment for Monday to be seen.I asked how her medical file will be transferred from him to another physician and she was clueless and I had to ask her if that's something I had to ask the doctor or not.She just offered to complete a Medical Release form. She had no care or concern about how she would find another primary in place of Dr.Quinco. Again, it's like that attitude of "you're on your own once we release you". No communication about options. Just told me she does not know and I had to ask "Is this something they do or I need to ask the doctor?" I guess they don't want to help or offer anything, they just want no responsibility and no professionalism or care for their jobs as medical professionals. I felt like this place honestly smelled like incompetent unless I ask a million questions. Again, we are the patients and need medical advice, so they should help us.Let me tell you they have ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR BEDSIDE MANNERS!Just be careful about this place. Really super cold towards families who have experienced a member who has had a STROKE. I mean, I'm not even a doctor, but I always receive compassion and kindness from Kaiser.JUST BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! If you have family that you care for, just know this place is cold and mean with how they treat family of patients.I had to call twice yesterday. I informed them NOBODY CALLED US BACK. I had to call again and this is like me being on top of things and being proactive.JUST BE CAREFUL NOT TO DEAL WITH THESE FOLKS FOR MEDICAL CARE.
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU NEED SERIOUS MEDICAL CARE. So I am going to let people know the specific facts here so there is absolutely zero confusion as to why this place is really unbelievably UNPROFESSIONAL and HONESTLY BRUTALLY SCARY.UPDATE 6/10/22 8:11 AM - DR STILL HAS NOT HAD PROPER COURTESY TO CALL BACK THE PATIENT. Mind you: We have explained to them that her husband recently passed away and we as her family out of town, have not been updated as to what the proper care for her should be! Really unprofessional! Had this been Kaiser, there would be communication throughout. They called yesterday just to say "it's between the family and the financial decisions etc", but we want medical advice not anything else, so it doesn't make sense. We need to know how often she has to be seen and this place DOES NOT EVEN CARE TO LET US KNOW WHO HER NEW PRIMARY WILL BE. It's OK that Dr. C is "moving to Florida in 2 days", but is this HOW YOU TREAT CURRENT PATIENTS???I am a Kaiser member all my life and they're always on top of my medical file and ensuring I am healthy and thriving. However, so here my relative had a stroke last year around summer. These doctors and staff were supposed to communicate with the family about the proper steps to ensure my relative gets better and progresses and how to best make sure she gets proper treatment and assessment.I called this morning around 8:15/8:30 am and explained to the receptionist the seriousness of the matter and her husband passed away so we truly need medical guidance and immediate help since we aren't local.I got a bad explanation that Dr. C is moving to Florida and blah blah blah. I politely asked who would follow up and take care of her? I politely asked receptionist to make an urgent follow up because the doctor never called back and mind you it's been 24 hours. If my Kaiser doctor moves or leaves, I usually get a friendly reminder or some kind of email or call. I don't just get ignored? And had we not inquired, would Montage even have notified us? No - just SURPRISE YOUR DOCTOR IS OUT OF STATE FOREVER AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE SEEN? OR YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHO WILL BE YOUR PRIMARY DOCTOR - YOU JUST HAVE TO BE LEFT IN THE DARK AND PRAY FOR HELP?!REALLY AWFUL CUSTOMER CARE HERE AND I STRONGLY SUGGEST OTHERS NOT TO HAVE THEIR LOVED ONES BE HELPED HERE. You will not get an answer, you won't get the medical attention you deserve, and you're just given excuses.I smell medical malpractice here and negligence. I'm just saying if they do NOT CALL ME TODAY AND SEE MY RELATIVE, I will be calling the Medical Board very soon!I'm not here to watch my relative suffer. She deserves fair medical care just like any human being!I get that the doctor is moving to Florida, but patients need help and answers here!!!!COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL HERE AND I WILL WAIT UNTIL FRIDAY, OTHERWISE I WILL FILE A COMPLAINT. LITERALLY WILL FILE A COMPLAINT BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A LAZY ATTITUDE TOWARDS PATIENTS IN ALL MY LIFE AND I AM 42 YEARS OLD AND SERIOUSLY HAVE NEVER SEEN A MEDICAL CENTER SO IRRESPONSIBLE AND APATHETIC.
I relocated last summer from Illinois and needed a primary care doctor. As a cancer survivor I go to specialists follow-ups every 6-months, and a primary doctor contact is fundamental. I was hoping to find one near where we live. When I scheduled my appointment as a New Patient they made me wait for three months. Then, when the visit date almost arrived I received a call that the doctor was not available and needed to reschedule. Another three months to wait. I'm appalled about this experience. I never had the honor of being their patient, a 6 months wait for a new patient visit is something no one can afford. It's better to say they can't accept new patients instead of being slow and unreliable.
Late last year I was referred to physical therapist at Montage in Marina. I went to 2 visits where 85+% of each visit consisted of the physical therapist talking about herself, her life, her family as well as an outside project that had to do with MY profession so my brain was picked for information. I learned 1 exercise between the two visits and the bill I received was for $900 AFTER my insurance paid. I called Montage to complain and I was met with no accountability and no apology for my experience. It was cut and dry and there was no plan on what they were going to do to keep this from happening again. They did reduce the amount I owed but I just got my electronic Montage reminder that I am still on the hook for $485 after my insurance paid. It's pathetic that I'm paying $485 for the opportunity to learn about a person that was perfectly nice but did little to nothing to help me with my medical issue. The one exercise I was given/taught was something I was already aware of from Instagram. The thing that bothers me the most is that I wasted about 3 hours of my life and the only thing I had to show for it is a bunch of information about one of their employees. Shame on Montage for not monitoring their staff and making sure a patient is actually getting help from what they came in for. Moving forward I will only use Montage if it's a last resort. I will reluctantly pay my bill and I hope that someone benefits from reading this and they hold firm boundaries if they go to Montage for help and are met with a provider that can do nothing but selfishly use the time to make it about themselves and not the patient. I strongly suggest that you ask for another provider if the one that is assigned cannot focus on patient care.
