This review is not based on medical services provided because I was unable to obtain assistance. I was discharged from Mercy San Juan Medical Center on 7/24/23 with a diagnosis of a fractured cervical spine injury (C-1). I was instructed to contact Dr. Sahrakar's office and schedule an appointment to be seen within 1-2 weeks for a follow up to verify recovery progress for this serious injury. Dr. Sahrakar's staff said they didn't have any appointments until January 2024 which was shocking. The staff person who answered the phone said they would attempt to get me in within a week to see the physician's assistant and that they would get back to me. When I didnt receive a call back after several days, I attempted to call them back during business hours the following week. The number rang without answer and then disconnected each time (calls made at 11:10am 8/1/23) So frustrating when contending with a serious medical issue. Hopefully the doctor is good at his craft. But the administrative side of this practice is horrible. I implore potential patients to find other options for this reason alone.
