Mehdi Arab's Online Review Report Card

My son's fiance drove 45 minutes for an appointment that was given to her today. She was there with their 2 month old son who we think has Thrush and is in pain. When she showed up the woman at the desk, Ann told her that the insurance showed as pending and that they could not see the baby today. She did not understand what the problem was with the insurance, but left to go to Urgent Care and called my son to tell him what happened. My son called the office and spoke to Ann to see what was happening and when he told her he was really upset with everyone, she hung up on him. I heard the entire conversation and he never used any foul language or raised his voice and there was no reason for her to be rude or to hang up on him.  He called her back and after stating he was going to report her unprofessional behavior she changed her story, said that she told his fiance that she could sign a waiver and accept financial responsibility or get on the phone and get the insurance straightened out.  After speaking to his fiance she stated she was not given that information and was just told "Sorry Mom". This is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE....A pediatrician's office should never turn a sick baby away without providing all options to the parent!!!

I love the doctors here, but trying to get through in the phone during “business hours” is a joke just this morning I’ve called over 15 times since 9 am when they are open and it’s like this every time I call. Then phones are closed from 12-2 which they turn on the answering service before 4:30, so if you work a regular job Monday through Friday good luck getting a call in to them. Either they need more people so they can still answer phones through lunch or they need to actually answer the phones during business hours.

The people in his office are terrible. I could get a referal for ent doctor but with the same insurance information I couldn't get it for an allergy doctor. It has been 2 months still there is no referal. Yeah, if something happens to my son in this period I'll definetly sue all of them.

I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Arab for 15 years and always happy with the experience my daughter has received. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Arab to anyone.

My 4 kids have been patients with Dr. Arab since they were born. That’s for total of 18 years now since 2002. Dr. Arab is the first pedestrian I and my son met 18 years ago at the Mercy San Juan Hospital when he was born. I am very pleased with Dr. Arab and all his team of Doctors!!! They’re truly professionals that care about my kids and their health. Thank you!

Been a long time, but if your looking for a qualified doctor who truly evaluate s your child, Dr. Arab and Dr. Valdez are superb doctors that truly care about children.

Very unprofessional and racist staff. I had a new patient appt for my kids and when I showed up on time they mentioned that they rescheduled the appt to early next week. When I tried to argue that I never received that call, the front desk lady (Melody) was very rude and lied to my face that she DID call me. When I said it was a lie she accused me of yelling and threatened me to leave the place. I would definitely avoid this toxic place, not a friendly environment for the kids ....

The doctors are excellent and their staff is also great
