List of Sierra Hematology & Oncology Medical Center's Reviews
This place needs to be reported to the medical board. Third time messing up my injection. Communication is non existence. Sad that its an oncology clinic and dealing with vulnerable patients and likely many of them are not realizing the damage being done. Please be aware. Ask questions. As I bleed asking for a simple bandaid having my injection site wiped with non-sterile napkin I am now officially giving up on complaining, they are hopeless.
Very unpleasant conversation with one of the Oncologist. The treatments he was recommending for Stage 1A Breast Cancer was unreal! I've already had surgery and the cancer removed. Clear margins and no cancer in my lymph nodes. And all the test he wanted done was insane to me. That is a hell no. Basically told me that I should have my ovaries removed because of producing estrogen. Also, if the genetic test came back with high percentages then he recommends removing both my Breasts. He also added that me being overweight. What? I am overweight? That is news to me. LOL. So I will not be returning to that place. What a freak show.
I am pleased with my care that I am receiving from Dr. Gregory Blair and the staff at Sierra Hematology & Oncology. I have felt that I've been in good hands this entire journey. I highly recommend Dr. Blair. He's knowledgeable and has so much experience. He's straightforward and is able to explain the answers to my questions so that I understand what to expect. He doesnt just rush through the appointments, trying to get to the next one. The nurses at J Street and the Carmichael office that helped with chemo injections and the monthly injections have all been great to me; always sweet and kind. From the phlebotomists to the front desk staff to the scheduler at J Street, everyone has been wonderful. My only negative feedback would be that appointments seem to always be running behind. But, I think that's minor and expected esp when you're treated with great care.
Worst experience of my life. The staff here are not compassionate know nothing about anything I have had trouble with WRONG ORDERS, WRONG DOCUMENTS, NEVER answering calls, Nothing gets done like it needs to. The lack of attention and lack of staff training here has made this experience so painful and the medical errors unacceptable! I only come here because I liked my oncologist and it makes me sad that I may have to look elsewhere due to their consistent staffing issues! I would give zero stars if I could!!
Staff is rude and veryyy long wait time. I'm not talking about 20-30 min. I'm talking about 50-1 hour after your appointment time. Then you get called and you wait another 10-15 minute.
Pleasant and efficient staff. Felt heard by the doctors and staff. Grateful for their services.
Dr. Lalchandani and his support staff are the best at what they do. They not only treat you, but they take the time to educate you on your particular health issue. They’re great listeners and I always feel that they are there to support me in all the different areas in life that are effected by my illness in addition to just my physical health.
They are Very friendly super sweet, I love going there. I would definitely recommend.
Everyone here is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Caring staff. Dr. Chrysofikas is great. God bless you all

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
