Nisha Wadhwa's Online Review Report Card

My husband and I just had our Annual Physical with Dr. Wadhwa today. Another great experience and everything was explained in great detail. We are so blessed to have him as our family doctor.

My husband has back issues, needed an MRI. We talked to the office of the specialist he has seen a couple of times. They said they could order it but it may take several months. We then decided to call Dr. Wadhwa's office and they immediately arranged to get the MRI approved and scheduled. After we did the MRI we then got the written report sent to us next day from Dr. Wadhwa's office. Maria who has worked for Dr. Wadhwa's office for a long time has been extremely helpful at all times. We wish we had this experience when calling other medical experts. We are blessed that he cares and is still our Primary Doctor.

My entire family has been seeing Dr Wadhwa as our PCP for several decades now and we have no interest in switching docs until the day he retires. Even after my parents retired and moved states they continued to see Dr Wadhwa thru tele-health. Dr Wadwha is very honest and straight to the point while still having compassion for his patients. To me that's as ideal as a doc can be. I can see some other reviewers don't appreciate his direct-ness and have taken it the wrong way - but wouldn't you prefer a doc who gets straight to the point than one who can't seem to give you any definitive answers? Everytime I leave his office I have 1) answers, 2) relief, and 3) more knowledge as he always educates his patients with valuable facts and anecdotes. He's a great family doc, especially in this busy world. Office is clean, quiet, and you get in and out in minutes. Thanks dr wadhwa, Sylvia, and all the other nurses and staff - you are all fantastic.

Best doctor.  He cares and is willing to spend the time.  You don't feel like you are just a number. His staff are also excellent and willing to help.  Maria is wonderful.  He is extremely knowledgeable.  I have been to many specialist who could not even help, he was always the one who came up with the best answer.  We are blessed to have him as our doctor.

By far the worst physician and office I've ever seen.The ladies in the front have always been fairly polite. Not nice, not welcoming or warm, and surely not very helpful....but, polite. I went in to address a number of medical concerns I had and they did several different tests of my bloodwork. A week later, no response. I had to call in and ask about my results to be told they did indeed receive them and was asked to "come in tomorrow to discuss the results." My first thought was obviously that it was something very serious, sending me and my family into a worrying fit. I ended up calling back to be told "Oh no, you're fine. Everything came back completely normal." So what's the point of bringing me in to tell me that I'm fine after a very vague and concerning phone call? Unprofessional and inconsiderate.There was nothing special about Dr. Wadhwa during the first visit. He listened to all of my concerns, said I had allergies, and sent me off to do testing. They also scheduled me for an ultrasound appointment to address anemia, which they confirmed I did not have a week prior to the appointment, and upon returning the doctor he said he "didn't think I needed to go to that appointment anyway." I know. Something you, nor your incompetent staff mentioned. I made a return appointment after not hearing from them at all for over a week once I noticed my symptoms worsening and felt like I had an idea of what the issue was. As mentioned in another review, Dr. Wadhwa was incredibly aggressive, condescending, and accusatory. He stated my needs were beyond his scope of work yet that I was "lucky he's even offering" to help me and prescribe me heavy and serious medication for something I was and had not been diagnosed with (major red flag), and that he is and was not qualified to diagnose me as and or with. I later got a bill for over $1,200 for the bloodwork, which was made out to be fairly routine testing while I was there. After calling the office, they said I needed to call the hospital lab they sent it off to and get an itemized invoice and send it to them so should could see if they forgot to code something. I played phone tag with the hospital all day, just to be told that Dr. Wadhwa's office has the itemization already and has access to the same exact files they do. I called the office, and the woman I spoke to wasn't there. She called me back a day later and asked if there was anything I needed. I intended on and scheduled an appointment with a UCLA physician right after my initial appointment, but had a three week waiting period which was the ONLY reason I returned to this office. The ladies, nurses, doctors, and overall office at UCLA in Culver City re-established what an embarrassment Dr. Wadhwa and his office are.This office has 7 reviews. 3 of them are bad. The other half are several years old. There are many offices with physician's who are respectful, and much more qualified than Dr. Wadhwa and his office. They're desperate for your $25-$50 copay and will call you in for no reason at all. Take the reviews seriously and do not come to this funky hole in the wall.

Dr Wadhwa has been my doctor for over 20 years! He is amazing! He is to the point! He tells it to you like it is! But in a very very nice way!!! He is the best! I moved to Downey now but I still make the 45 minute trip to come see him.

Dr Wadhwa is very good doctor. My whole family goes there. He takes time and discusses the issue in detail. He is very knowledgeable and gives a straight forward advice even if it's rude but he will tell the fact which in a long run is in our favor. The waiting time is not very long unlike some other doctor offices.
