I had liposuction done by Dr Lusby and her wonderful team. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Not only am I extremely pleased with the results of my procedure, I felt like Dr Lusby, Amy, Alyssa and Caitlyn all took a legitimate concern in me and my well-being throughout the entire process. Dr Lusby was very realistic in explaining what would happen before, during and after my procedure and consistently made sure that we were on the same page with goals and expectations. She also was very knowledgeable and taught me so many things that I did not know, even things not pertaining to my procedure! :)I highly recommend Dr Lusby if you find yourself looking for a plastic surgeon. She is highly skilled, professional and one of the most down to earth surgeons I've ever met (and I work in healthcare). I will definitely be returning to her in the future if I need anything.

I met Dr. Lusby after my diagnosis; it was serious.  She studied my case and was very clear on what had to be done.  What I really appreciate was how well prepared she was for our discussion. Some physicians become hardened to patients and their concerns and situation.  Not with Dr. Lusby, she understood the seriousness and explained in no uncertain terms what had to be done; she cared.  The first surgery was rough; very painful, .  Afterwards came the repair work.  This is when her plastic surgery skills came to bear.  After the initial surgery my face was not what it used to be; not saying I was Brad Pitt but at least I did not scare small children. Dr. Lusby repaired the damaged area and unless someone were to look very closely you would not notice.  My point is that in addition to her plastic surgery skills, her core physician and general surgery skills are excellent. Dr. Lusby is an outstanding surgeon and I would not hesitate to go back to her if the need arrives.

I had breast cancer 25 years ago. I had a mastectomy on my right breast  and was left with a totally botched breast reconstruction. My right breast with the implant was even on sideways at one point. I had many consultations over the years about fixing my breasts. My breasts were a deformed mess. My real breast was a size C. My right breast barely anSize A. All the plastic surgeons I went to had eyes that glazed over and told me they could not help me. In other words I was to much of a mess. I was referred to Dr. Lusby from another doctor at the California Skin Institute. I talked to her about all this and she said she could help me. I really liked her and she was very confident that she could fix my problem. I had the surgery and I am very happy with the results. I can not believe that I finally feel like a normal woman again after all these years. I would highly recommend her to any woman with breast issues. She has twice the education than any doctor I have seen so far. In fact she is an amazing person. She cares about her patients and is easy to talk too.   I just think she is a gift after all the years I was looking for help.
