Very disappointed in the care we have received up to this point. It’s absolutely heartbreaking when you are told “I’m 98-99% positive it’s not cancer, you don’t meet a lot of the criteria” just to get a phone call later on from the same Dr, Dr DeSouza stating it’s stage 3cancer. From there it has just snowballed. She and her staff have delayed patient care we’ve had to consistently be on top of her as they’ve scheduled us a month out when we were supposed to have an appointment the following week and has majorly delayed placing mandatory labs and tests that need to be done before we can even start cancer treatment. She has rushed me off the phone to avoid answering questions that she promised to go over with us multiple times like it was beneath her stating I could keep my questions and discuss them the day of surgery with a nurse…seriously unprofessional and majorly lost trust/confidence in her medical judgement. Save yourself the heartbreak and delay in care and avoid going to her. If you do call epicare I suggest you ask for Marie she has been wonderful and helpful the rest I have no words for…
