I'd like to apologize first of all to Dr Martin for taking so long to do this. "Technical issues" Ok Dr Martin is the real deal, I was an ironworker for many years and that trade is very hard physically on everyone . 1. Tore my left shoulder bad enough so that dr. Martin could not Fix-It orthoscopicly . That shoulder still feels better then the one I never injured perfect. 2. Hit by a hit-and-run driver on 680 destroyed my left knee. Dr. Martin had to install a cadaver tendon for my ACL inner and outer meniscus both tore up over 10 years I still do not walk with a limp The only doctor I've ever met that even comes close do this guy's caliber fix my broken back however he was dr. Martens best friend and study partner all through medical school go figure
Dr. Martin is AWESOME!! He knows what’s he’s doing and he puts his patients’ well being FIRST. AND his office staff is fabulous.
My knee "gives out" periodically, although there is no pain. This has been going on for more than 40 years but only began to concern me because I have recently fallen several times, subsequently had back surgery and now am using a cane until I feel sure I will not fall again (my PCP says there are no apparent medical conditions that caused these falls). Dr. Martin looked at my MRIs and was not at all apologetic in stating that he felt the radiologist had misread the films films (or whatever they're called), that my situation was not int the least bit serious and that it did not require any type of invasive procedure (which corroborated what my P.T. had told me, but I wanted an opinion from a specialist MD)--that it was likely due to my sciatica, which other specialists have also told me persists somewhat even after surgery. Dr. Martin could have easily made some nice $$ off of me by saying I needed surgery and I never would've been the wiser. But I had heard he was conservative when it came to performing surgery, so I was pretty confident that would not happen. He listened to what I had to say (VERY nice guy, BTW), examined me, had me do a few exercises and said I was good to go. Special thanks to his office manager Cassandra, who is just tops!
I have been under Doc MARTIN's care for 23 years now in order to keep me walking comfortably before having to resort to a full knee replacement. His manner is so professional, expert, and genial that I actually look forward to walking in to his office knowing that I am about to have a rather long needle shoved in behind my kneecap. Now, at age 75, the time has come, and I know that he will be just as caring and expert as he has been for the last 23 years. When the time came for my Wife to have Her knee rebuilt, she would not allow anyone else to perform the surgery. She is very happy with the result.
His assistant Cassandra is rude and incompetent. She had my PCP's office to fax her multiple referrals in the past week. Said she’d call on 5/20. It is 5/22 now and she still has not called!... So unprofessional! Reflects badly on the doctor!!
I was referred here by my primary physician and I have to say, really happy with my first visit here today. I tore a muscle that has not been healing, and Dr. Martin was very attentive while I told him what had been going on. He seemed to really care about finding out what happened, and he was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The two women at the front desk were also so sweet. I don't remember their names unfortunately but one had blonde hair w/ glasses and the other brown hair with no glasses. Dr. Martin wanted me to do x-rays before I left, and I was told the technician was new so it might be a bit of a wait. It did take a while, but Dr. Martin's team (the two ladies I tried to describe!) came by regularly to update me, apologize for the wait, etc. Good service can save the day, and it did. It makes all the difference, especially during extended wait times. I'm looking forward to my followup visit. Great job, Dr. Martin and staff! Thanks.
Dr Martin has been my Grandmother's ortho-surgeon for years, but I've just recently started taking her to the appointments to get cortisone shots. I have to say, Dr Martin is one of the nicest, funniest and most personable doctors we have been to!! He always comes in in a good mood, a "Hey There", "Hi Champ" etc and he listens to our questions and concerns. I have found him to be very honest, although it may not be the answer we were looking for or wanted, I do appreciate the honesty. And although there may not be anything more that he can do surgery-wise (due to my a Grandmother's age), he did offer several non-surgical alternatives. I found that refreshing, since some doctors are only looking at the all mighty dollar signs & would operate on a tree trunk to put more money in their pockets. Also, I have to shout out to Teresa and Casandra at the front office. These two ladies are nice, funny and just as sweet as can be!! I mean 5 stars alone for those Ladies!! From the moment you walk in, Casandra and Teresa make the experience a joy and just have a calming, caring nature about them! Dr Martin REALLY lucked out with them and so do we as patients or care-givers! My ONLY complaint is that the front door is not automatic (UGH) and swings outward to open, so you have to be a yogi master or have three arms just to bring in someone in a wheelchair, other than that, GREAT office with a GREAT staff and a GREAT atmosphere!
Dr. Martin is The Best! He explains Everything to you so that you can understand it. I have been going to him for over 15 years, and he has replaced my knee and taken care of a few other joint problems. He is a 20 out of 10.
The thing that struck me most about Dr. Martin was his genuine concern for me and ability to quickly come to the next action item. His confidence and ability to communicate helped me to get behind his recommendations and make changes for the better.
My ortho surgeon. Had total knee replacement 2wks ago. Caring professional. Listens and HEARS his patients. I found him to be very personable, friendly and easy to talk to. A very important part of overall health and contributes greatly in the healing process. Staff is friendly, professional and helpful. Looking forward to my continued positive progression towards full mobility and strength of my new knee under Dr Martin's care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
