Patrick Tedford's Online Review Report Card

Staff was very short and rude over the phone my daughter was only 3 weeks old he was my pediatrician and all of my siblings and he would not take her as a new patiaent. Also there medical billing department for Tedford never returned my phone calls I left 3 messages and never got a call back.

Dr. Tedford was my doctor when I was growing up, and he is now my sons doctor. If that doesn't speak volumes, then I'll say that I highly recommend Dr. Tedford!

Dr. Tedford is hands down the best there is. He was my doc as a kid and is now my children's doctor. Doctor Tedford is extremely knowledgeable and has the best bedside manner for a doctor I have ever seen. He also has a really cool voice that actually has the ability to put you at ease when your child is ill. Dr. Tedford saved my brother's life when He was 16. My brother had been really violently ill, and been to two other doctors about swelling in his neck, fatigue, vomiting, etc. They both misdiagnosed him and wasted a lot of time in the process. When his symptoms continued to worsen my mom put him in the car and drove him to Dr. Tedford. Upon seeing my brother, He said I can't be sure without tests, but... I think that I should go ahead and make a call to Stanford medical center, and get you down there... He did so, and must have called in some favors, or made a great case for my brother because despite the schedule being packed solid they saw my brother the next day. Which was better the "specialists" my brother saw in Chico wasting months of time before seeing my brother. Dr. Tedford did the biopsy in his office. The results were non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, which is exactly what He told my mom He thought it was despite the fact 2 other doctors misdiagnosed it... I don't know how anyone could say doctor Tedford is "negligent" because you don't feel he cared much for your son. You may not like a person but that doesn't mean they are negligent. Shame on you!

Dr. Tedford is great. He has in multiple occassions suggested a natural remedy rather than using a prescribed medication. He is very good with our son and is very patient during our office visits. Dr. Tedford's nurses are also very knowledgable and friendly. I would refer him to anyone. He knows his stuff and doesn't try to solve problems with meds. Great doctor.

He made it apparent that he cared little for my son or his health. After multiple trips over a course of 4 months because of sinus, ear and bronchial infections, he quickly prescribed antibiotics, never looking deeper and dodging my inquiries about the cause. He never looked hard enough to notice the extremely enlarged and infected tonsils that (as was revealed to us by another doctor 2 weeks later) were nearly cutting off his air supply. He told me it was normal for a kid to be sick all the time, to be on 4 sets of antibiotics in 4 months, and not to worry. I sought a second opinion, who was appalled at Dr. Tedford's ineptitude at diagnosing my son and requested immediate surgery to remove his tonsils, adenoids and put tubes in both ears. Since then, he is showing remarkable improvement. He is like a new child. If I had stayed with Tedford, he would still be suffering. Also, during the last appt. with Tedford, only minutes into the appt, he abruptly left the room during my questioning and never returned. He didn't bother to notify me of the termination of our appt. or even give me the respect of ensuring that all my questions were answered. If you are thinking about seeing Dr. Tedford, think again. Your child deserves better.
