Richard Moorhouse's Online Review Report Card

The doctor and one of the receptionists are extremely rude and cold. There was no explanation of what i was going to get done or what was going to happen. Luckily, google helped me through. The 2 stars are for the fact that they put me out during during the procedure, which was great because I am terrified of dentist.

I was a patient of Dr. Moorhouse on February 7th of 2023. It's a shame when all folks post are negative reviews ( which I read prior to my dental procedure). I want to say that my experience with Dr. Moorhouse was very positive. He was kind, professional and thorough....and his work was relatively painless. He has new offices since the beginning of 2-23 and the new facilities on 1 Scrips Drive are light and clean. His staff is pleasant and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Moorhouse to anyone in our area seeking good oral surgical care. Dale White

This one star is rating the appointment making process only. Alice at the front desk is inconsiderate and beyond rude both times I've talk to her. She has an attitude and doesn't consider the patient's perspectives at all. She doesn't seem to like her job in my opinion and that makes this process horrible for everyone. When I told her I had a referral her voice immediately changed and she acted as if it was a hassle for her to be talking to me. This is the way I felt BOTH times I have encountered her on the phone...during a time in my life where I am having severe pain, stress and anxiety trying to make an appointment.

I had one consultation with Dr Moorhouse for oral surgery. He seemed nice enough. A week later I called office and left a voice message. I drove there to drop off a document they needed to schedule the surgery. Office was empty, only a sign on the door telling postmen to leave mail next door. Turns out they vacated the building not telling any patients or insurance company. They are still looking for new office space and doing surgeries etc at DrMoorhouse friends office part time. I could never reach them again and they never called me again to schedule surgery.

Had to go in for extraction of upper wisdom i was nervous. He literally numbed me up and when he did the extraction I didn’t even know that’s how awesome and good he was. He’s experienced and it was the best experience I’ve had seeing a specialist

I’m writing my own personal experience that had recently with this office as of July 6th 2022. First, I waited for 20 minutes after taking my X-ray to see doctor for consultation. The moment Dr. Richard entered the room, without any greeting or introducing himself, he started going through the X-ray and my option for paying the cost. The place is not clean, two nurses are responsible for entire office operations. Very rude people and if you don’t like yourself then go here. I would definitely don’t recommend here for anyone.

This Dr comes into my dentist office for extractions only. His assistant was awesome UNLIKE the Dr himself. He never introduced himself nor did he acknowledge I was in the room. He sat behind me, told me to open and started in. Never asked if I was numb. It was terrifying!! He broke off one of my teeth which scared me to death. It was a nightmare! I would never refer anyone to this person. The one star goes to his assistant, I believe his name is Richard also. Stay away...find a different oral surgeon unless you want to feel like you're in an assembly line for a slaughter house. Just my opinion and experience.

Worst experience ever..felt like i was a waste of their time..came to have a consult of my 1 wisdom tooth that was bothering me..after xray dentist said i want to take 2 of your wisdom teeth the left and the right..told the dentist the only one my left has a decay and bothering me why take off two he then answered i dont do one, go back to your dentist and then he left the room..such as shame its obvious they get paid more if they do more extraction so they dont care about whats wrong with you its how much they can gain from you matters.

I've had several teeth pulled throughout my life. This was the very BEST place I've been. Everyone is friendly and engages in small talk which calmed my nerves. He had music going and literally pulled my tooth out under one minute. It was painless, they took great care of me! So thankful

Rude and unprofessional staff/receptionist. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. He will literally do extra stuff just to charge you more even though we did not want the extra service but he went ahead and did it anyway. Next thing you know we got a bill sent to our mailbox. Stay away from this place. Shady business, unprofessional.
