List of Tanya Layne's Reviews
One star is too many. Worst doc I've ever experienced. I went to her and said, factually, I am a scientist who has cognitive loss, muscle and joint pains including sciatica, and had a tick bite recently so am concerned about Lyme disease. She said "I don't believe Lyme disease exists, it's an excuse weak people use to get out of doing anything." And told me I Botox injections in my sciatic nerve would fix my only real problem. I am smart enough to know how wrong she is and told her so. She said she was confused and meant she doesn't believe in chronic fatigue. That didn't help, because CFS/ME also exist and who needs such a fool as a doctor. Got my copay refunded and left. I'd never trust anyone that ignorant and rude with my housework, let alone my healthcare.
Dr. Layne was very rude with no bedside manner. I came to her to get help with depression and she treated me so badly it kept me from getting help for 4 more years.
Dr Layne is a horrible person and should not be in practice. At a time that I was suffering with mental health issues and needed help she made me feel as if I was making up my depression. She said “do you just want disability?” DO NOT go to her!
Not a friendly place for people with depression. Front desk lady was very nice. The doctor was very upfront, lot of attitude and when I told her I have depression, was asked" are you depressed right now". The doctor looked shocked that I had it and her asking that made me feel insulted and im not going back. She also said people can be wrongly diagnosed sometimes, depression is like a fashion trend now people are saying they have it. And now dogs can be diagnosed with depression and axienties" she did say she was glad I got treatment. But the questions were address in a insensitive way. And I think they should rephrase questions different that dont feel like insults.
Excellent. Terrific doctor. Very knowledgeable, professional and helpful.
If I could leave zero stars I would. This woman is vile. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
Dr Layne has been a wonderful Dr to me for the past 6 years through cancer and other surgeries. She is compassionate but also realistic. I appreciate her and her wonderful office staff.
good bedside manner, as if I am the only patient, always carry a smile
This office and doctor tried to double dip me and get two 40$ copays out of me. They tried to make one office visit into 2 visits. The first visit I had a check up and was sent for labs and a mammogram which I did. Then they call me back saying I need another visit to review labs. I get there and they want another 40$!!! I told them that’s double dipping and that I don’t need an appt to be seen. The Dr needs to review the labs she ordered and adjust my meds period.
Stay away, this woman is rude, biased, uncompassionate, writes false information on charts and treats her staff even worse!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
