The Office staff is deplorable. Delays in submitting insurance authorizations, lack of concern for patient wellbeing, self focused & extremely unprofessional. Office policy— they are allowed to hang up on a patient or caller if they believe the caller to be “rude, yelling or screaming” apparently that happens frequently. I’m not surprised because if staff are very defensive during a call, self focused and lack genuine concern, the conversation will escalate. I was hung up on by Shannon, a medical assistant.Today I called to advocate for my wife and express my concerns regarding the delays in services. I called back and received extreme push back from Laura another medical assistant with the same behavior and attitude as Shannon. I left a message several days ago requesting to speak with the office manager, Christi. She is still out of the office. Staff had no idea when she was returning to work. Dr Bonis has not returned my wife’s call on 5-12-21 as she is experiencing, new severe pain after a recent outpatient procedure. The cavalier response I received from Laura is she is not responsible if Dr. Bonis hasn’t contacted either one of us.Healthcare in Chico and Enloe hospital (monopoly) is over burdened and bursting at the seams. There aren’t enough MDs to provide care for our population. Without competition for patient business, there isn’t the need to raise the bar or even strive to raise the bar. Deplorable patient care and lack of concern is the norm. As a RN I am ashamed of how patients are treated by health care facilities in Butte County and that’s why I no longer work in the area.My wife has completely lost trust, faith and confidence with this practice. Lori is returning to Dr. Shawn Furst for interventional pain management despite the fact his office is out of network with her new insurance provider. We are willing to pay the $2000 out of pocket expense to ensure she receives appropriate and compassionate care.

Ever since they switched doctors and staff. The customer service is the worst. They are very rude when they talk to you. Pretty sad that we jump though all these hoops for them but they can't answer the phone or return Rx to the pharmacy. Then when I drove to there office they tried to tell me that I needed to see the doctor prior to get my rx. I would not recommend them to anyone if they can avoid it.

He use to be a good doctor but now he has taken on so many patients that you can even get an appointment with him and when you do his staff is so over loaded that your procedure is never order, frustrating time to move on.

I just started going to their pain management clinic and Was Told I Needed Injections in my Lower back Also was Told They Don't Do Any Pain Medication I'm Not Sure if I'm Going to Continue with Them 😕

Drove 2-1/2 hours each way for my wife's appointment, only to be told she would need to fill a new patient form and come back next week

Dr. Lipman is the absolute best doctor I have been to. He is extremely caring and wants to help his patients the best way possible. I have seen many doctors over the past 7 years and he is the only doctor who has taken the time to figure what was going on and had been able to help me manage my pain with no pain killers! I finally feel like I have control of my pain and not have to be on pain killers! Thank you Dr. Lipman for everything you do!

The worst place there is , staff are absolutely horrible and rude and clueless , and Dr lipman Is a joke he thinks and acts better than what he is ,he has no respect for patients

I was referred 8 months ago for a back problem. I was told I would be good for my vacation. ONLY relief is that my wallet is lighter. Very little pain relief. Vacation is now 63 days away and still no relief in sight. The office knows the insurance authorization process and can't seem to get it right yet. ( If you can go somewhere else. You'll save time and money. )

I assume these reviews were written after the first visit. Do not go there if you are looking for pain management. They decreased my dosage of opioids without even informing me, in one case just calling in a lower dose to the pharmacy. This caused my blood pressure to spike. I was Ihospitalized twice. My pain is still not under control three month later. truly believe withdrawal from opioids can be a positive thing, but it should be agreed on by both doctor and patient. Also, check Dr. Gasman's record. He is on probation for similar infractions: I.e., treating patients with no regard for their medical history.

Everyone that works there is amazing from reception to the doctors. I was explained everything so well. I had such a great experience. After 8 months of pain I am finally on my way back to normal. Can't thank everyone at this office enough. Would recommend to everyone.
