This doctor does not listen and seem to just respond accordingly to text books. When i called him about a serious potential issue my son had he simply dismissed it as something else and just made the referral that i suggested which took months. We ended up taking my son to the ER and he did have what we suspected which is considered an emergency. I’m glad i did not listen to this doctor. Further more almost ask the referral’si make take months. I understand i have HMO but why are some referrals made In a city an hour away from me?

Dr. Joel R. Del La Merced MD review rating was 4.4 it must be an excellent and Carrying Pediatrics Doctor right ? I WAS WRONG called doctor office to scheduled a FLU SHOT VIST ONLY the office told us it will not be available for two weeks because Were NEW PATIENT must go through a physical before can give a FLU SHOT. I said this make NO SENSE In addition I was told by office receptionist you can always go to CVS get a FLU SHOT they do not need physical check.We cant even get a Flu Shot from our own Doctor? How simple is this ? What type of Pediatrics Doctor is Mr. De La Merced Patrice in his office? This is the Caring of their new Patient I would not TRUST my Children with his care.Would you TRUST this or ANY Pediatric Doctor telling You it would be quicker for your kids to get a Flu Shot at your local CVS ? Where is the Caring and Compassion of this Doctor ?

We love Dr. De La Merced and his team They are warm compassionate and very thorough. They take the time to both listen and educate children and parents. I know my daughter’s health is in the greatest of hands. Thank you for serving and enriching our community with your compassionate care.

Dr. D. has been our family pediatrician for more than 13 years. I met with him BEFORE I gave birth to my son to make sure that he was right for us. Hes everything I expected and more. Very thorough friendly and genuinely takes an interest in his patients.
