List of Pomona Valley Health Centers (Pvhc) At Crossroads Urgent Care's Reviews
She was very courteous and professional. She handled everything with ease. Thank you
5 ⭐️ for the front desk staff. Welcoming and personable. I appreciate that appointments are offered for urgent care. 3 ⭐️ for the male PA that treated me. He was personable however nothing is worse for a woman than being dismissed by a man when it comes to medical treatment. I went in for the flu and explained it was starting to turn into a sinus infection. I have a 40 plus year history of sinus issues and surgeries so I’m well aware of my body. He could see some signs of it however he explained in their training they try to hold off on prescribing antibiotics and letting the body do its job. That’s all good, however I’m well aware of my body and it doesn’t fight it off once it’s turned. My MD is a functional medicine dr so I don’t take taking antibiotics lightly. He offered to post date some in 10 days which defeats the purpose. Fortunately the following morning my own dr was able to prescribe me some. Hopefully this can be a learning tool that not everything is black/white. Sometimes your patients know what’s best for their body and you have to entrust them with that as well. Lastly, did not appreciate the upsell of a strep test when clearly I had zero strep issues
Joelle was kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. My daughter injured her foot and Joelle spoke directly to her and allowed her to take part in her care while being respectful to me. Her bubbly personality was fun and calming in an otherwise stressful situation. In my more recent visit, I had a splinter underneath my finger nail. I felt stupid for being in the urgent care for a splinter. She was assuring and kind. She got the splinter out without removing my nail.
Was seen on time, not rushed, and she was very thorough.
He was extremely nice and informative. He even went back looking through my records to find out exactly what it was. I needed.
Nicholas was very kind and understanding
Good job
Very efficient and professional. Highly recommended!
Joelle Arkfeld PA was compassionate, professional and quick. I felt well taken care of. Thank you
Be prepared to wait. I reserved an appointment online for 10 AM and arrived right on time. After 2 hours, I was still not able to leave. I think the whole process could definitely be more efficient. A nurse came in to take my vitals, then I waited about an hour for the doctor. After that, I waited another 30 minutes for a nurse to come back and do a flu test, then another 30 minutes for the result—it was negative. Then I had to wait again for a COVID test, followed by another 30-minute wait for that result. 😭 There was just so much waiting between every single step. I understand that clinics can get busy, but if appointments are reserved for a specific time, I feel like the process should be organized more efficiently.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
