He is a great doctor with a great sense of humor. He makes you feel comfortable and is very caring with his patients. Excellent doctor.
Dr. Hoang is an excellent Doctor. I am quite anxious to be around Medical Offices and he made me feel very comfortable. His office is clean and his staff is friendly. I highly recommend Pacific Coast Dermatology.
All doctors should be like him
Dr. Hoang is fantastic. If I could give him 10 stars I would. He gave my diagnosis to me straight and did not draw out my treatment. He also noticed some things I wasn’t aware of and advised me on how to take care of them in the safest possible way. He is very friendly and built my trust quickly by being honest and straightforward. He is also an army veteran, which makes me respect him even more. Thanks so much Dr. Hoang - you have a patient for life.
Horrible place . They charge money for giving receipt as well . Have never heard in my life time that some office charge money for receipt. The person I talk to she is trying to convince me you have to pay 10 bucks for each time you asked for receipt . This is weird . I am not coming back again
Huang is very narcissistic and has a giant ego. This is due to the fact that he wants to make himself look good because he is insecure. He is only 5 feet tall in height, which is very short. That is the reason why he feels the need to project and express himself like a lion to make himself look powerful as well as strong. He is also a money grabber. He grabs your money and leaves. It is best not to go and talk to him because he talks in circles and is only there for the money. Huang only talks about himself and refuses to listen to you. Bad at communicating and talking, as well as listening, which makes Huang unprofessional, rude, condescending , disrespectful, evil, classless, dismissive, and a extremely malicious person. He is not caring at all. Huang does not even have the right equipment for skin removal type of dermatology procedure. The worst dermatologist ever! Self-centered. Waste of money and time! Good riddance!!
No Professionalism from the doctor. He made my 14 year old daughter cried. Very rude. He recommended accutane and when I asked side effects he said go home and research. “Im the doctor and I know what’s best”. I was surprised he said that, I paid a consultation to hear from an expert not the internet. I asked one more time if he can explain the main side effects and talked about not getting pregnant and my daughter asked what he meant and he said “never mind your not intelligent to understand” and he was rude and made her cry. She couldn’t understand what he meant because he has a thick accent and she just wanted him to repeat what he said. Very rude and disappointing. We walked away and asked for our money back.
I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone from them trying to charge me a $20 no-show fee when I explicitly explained to them I had an emergency and my daughter broke my phone and I had no way of reaching out to them or even finding the location on Maps because my phone was broken and I had to wait 10 minutes for them to tell me that they were gonna waive it. Also I had an appointment to get lab work results when they did not have them in the system and I drove an hour to see them. And when I brought it to the doctors attention, his first reaction was well we can transfer you to another clinic. How about you? Just do your job and get the results. And not only that, but once they got the results magically, they were a completely waste just for them to tell me I’m low on vitamin D, which is what is causing my hair loss, but there’s absolutely no cure for my other condition which is seborrheic dermatitis. Literally have no idea why they get paid for this job if they can’t help us with with what’s really going on. It’s a complete waste of time and not to mention. He was also rude cutting me off while I’m talking and not letting me fully and say what I had to say. Such a horrific experience specially because I am an office manager myself, and I work with clients all day and every day.
The doctor is the best I’ve ever been to. Has a great personality yet is extremely professional. He knows his stuff. I go to him and now my mom goes to him and I recommend him to everyone.
NO PROFESSIONALISM AT ALL. A lot of things that the doctor said are coming back to me even 2 days after the visit. They were pretty offending. The doctor literally said to my husband’s face, “Give me a better story next time” as if we were there to play games or lie to him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
