Vera Dermatology's Online Review Report Card

PA Jasmine was very knowledgeable on all the questions I had for her. I was initially referred for mole removal, but she informed me that the Asian population has a fairly lower risk for melanoma from moles. She also corrected my previous knowledge of moles that not all moles are “bad”. She still thoroughly examined all my moles and spoke to me about my skin concerns and provided me with a simple paperwork that they have at the office on how to better care for my skin. At the front desk they also have small skincare freebies. Jasmine was very kind and professional, she did speak a bit fast but I can’t fault that to her since when I was waiting for her I heard how busy their office gets and they are a business after all. Her staff also are very kind and do try to get to know their patients and genuinely care for the patient’s skin and the patient’s well being.

First time visit, nice place but the Doctor ( jazmine)could have been a little kinder. I felt as though she was a little irritated with my questions and when giving me the prices of how much to remove moles out-of-pocket, she could’ve been nicer. It wasn’t the worst experience, but it wasn’t the best experience either. I hope to come to my next appointment and get a friendlier response. I was referred by my doctors office. I do have concerning moles that are growing and changing color and I think as a professional any doctor should not make you feel Uncomfortable when they’re going to be doing a procedure on you. Dr. Jazmine did seem very smart and knowledgeable in her examination of a full body scan so I do appreciate that. Hopefully I’ll get a different response next time. I’m grateful that I have insurance and a doctor to come to.

Jasmine was an excellent provider. She was attentive, compassionate, and experienced. And obviously most importantly she took care of all of my skin issues, after a very long journey. My skin completely cleared up after my care here. The office staff was also very professional.

The office is very nice and clean. PA Jasmine was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and really took her time to listen to my concerns. She explained her treatment plan to me very clearly. She made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend her to anyone with any derm issues!

I had a psoriasis flare up and was super stressed out about it. The PA, Jasmine Li, was very helpful about educating me regarding the psoriasis and what products can I use to keep them at bay. Highly recommend, everyone in the clinic is super nice and helpful!

I sincerely appreciated PA-C Jasmine Li and the help she gave me for my urticaria. It was concerning to me that I recently developed this skin condition without any known provoking factors, I didn’t know what was causing it or what would be the best way to manage it. PA-C Jasmine was both kind and thorough when addressing my concerns, recommended a treatment that helped me, and also followed up personally to check in after a few weeks! I appreciate her greatly and highly recommend her as a provider.

I had a very great experience with PA Jasmine Li who took care of my acne. She prescribed me some creams for it. She took her time explaining the medications to me and how to properly use everything. She also took her time helping me figure out what skin care products I can use and made me feel comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend asking to see Jasmine she’s a great provider!

Very bad experience, My insurance clearly showed that a visit to the specialist is $8, but the front desk charged me $25 and asked me cash. When I asked for a receipt, they didn't give it to me. Second, The doctor's assistant prescribed three medications, two of which will be sent to my pharmacy, and the other one will be sent to a special pharmacy, but my pharmacy did not receive the prescription. The special pharmacy replied that they would not make the medicine. so I called VERA Dermatology clinic, but no one answered. Later, I called the same boss of the urology department next door, and they I was transferred to the dermatology clinic, Someone answered the phone and said it was break time and asked me to call again in an hour. I said I was at the pharmacy. Do I need to wait for an hour? they replied that the medicine had been sent to my pharmacy, but my pharmacy only received a prescription for one medicine. So I went back to the clinic, and the Doctor’s assistant helped me resend the three medicines, finally there were sent to my pharmacy. So I wast my whole afternoon! The next day I looked at my insurance card carefully. It is clearly showed $8 to visit a specialist. I called the front desk that why charged me $25? She said she didn’t know. She said she could refund me $17 and let me go to his clinic to get it. I offered him my zelle and she said she couldn’t zelle because it was cash. I said it was your mistake and you should give it to me instead of wasting my time to get it from you. You should be responsible and convenient to patient, You don’t use the convenient method, but you ask me that wasting my time!Isn’t my time valuable? This is a very bad experience, not good front desk, no responsibility, no rules, no apology, he overcharges guests and doesn't apologize. I wasted a lot of time here, I didn't get the medicine smoothly, and was overcharged! 我的保险清楚的写着访问专家$8，但是前台收了我$25，而且要求我给现金，我要收据当时并没有给我，后来我也忘了要。 医生助理给开了三种药，两种会发送到我的药房，另外一种会发送到特殊药房，可是我的药房没有收到处方，特殊药房回复我也不做这药，于是我打电话给诊所，永远没人接，后来我打到旁边泌尿科同一个老板，他们转线皮肤科，有人接了电话，说现在休息时间，让我过一个小时再打电话，我说我在药房，我需要等一个小时嘛？然后前台说帮我问一下，回复我说已经把药发送到了我的药房，可是我的药房只收到一种药的处方，就这样我又回到诊所，助理帮我把三种药重新发到了我的药房。 第二天我仔细看了我的保险卡，访问专家只需要$8，我打电话给前台问为什么收了我$25，她说不知道，她说可以退给我$17，让我过去诊所拿，我说我没时间，我把我的zelle提供给了她，她说不能zelle，因为是现金，我说这是你的错误，你应该送给我，而不是浪费我的时间去你那拿，你应该负责，有方便的方法你不用，非得需要我过去拿，我的时间不值钱吗？这是个非常糟糕的前台，没有责任，没有规则，没有道歉，他多收客人的钱，也不道歉。 看一次病，浪费了很多时间，药没有顺利拿到，还被多收了钱！
