My wife and kids have been coming to Kaneda Dental for more than 12 years, as for me on and off due to the insurance change thru the years. Now it’s Alta Dental you can see the difference. During Dr. Kaneda, you can see the place and the staff are very friendly, family oriented and you build that personal relationship. They treat you like a (Chula Vista) neighbor. You can see the other customers are from around Rancho, Bonita, Otay and other close by neighbor county we are a community. Dr. Kaneda is always laughing with everyone and still professional. I can hear her laughing sometimes while I am getting cleaned on the other room. Her staff are the same, talking and smiling. Now Alta have changed the atmosphere in this location. First, they painted the whole place white (I like it somewhat, its bright). The decorations such as painting/pictures, drapes and a corner for a kid to play is gone. The staff even though some of them have been working there since with Dr. Kaneda have change, they talk to you but minimal. The Dr. Kaneda’s personality is the same as the workplace alive and funny. Now it’s plain business like a corporate. I can see and feel it too with other clients when they talk to the reception/assistants, you pay your bill, set the next appointment and leave. No more of Dr. Kaneda saying good bye to you. I think Alta can connect with the community, if the lead doctor will talk to the customers, or set an example with his/her subordinates. By the way who’s the doctor in charge of Alta?

Mrs Talicol was amazing. She showed patience, understanding and care. Top professional as always and very thorough with follow up education with a smile. Her confidence and experience with her clients is at such a level she deserves her own parking spot! Truly a pleasure and an honor to be a client of hers. -Butog

Had a nice visit at this dental office. The front office staff Suleyk and Adriana were super friendly and helpful 🥰 Everyone was nice. Definitely recommend

I went to my normal cleaning after 6 months and I did not realize the office went through a management transition. Place looks nice with some new staffs. They were all polite and friendly. I was really glad to see Kristin was still there. She is always professional but still had the 'we are family' vibe. She always listens to my concerns and provide valuable suggestions. She always makes my visit enjoyable...yes at a dentist office!

Dr. Bajwa was able to fix my tooth when I was in pain it had a very bad cavity... Very professional explained procedure.

My crown fell off and was able to get a same day appointment to get a temporary crown. It's my first time back since the changeover from Dr.Kaneda. Availability dates for cleaning was lame. Not sure if my family will continue with this office in the near future. I personally dislike the repainted white walls in the waiting room.
