Dr Cesar Peña refused to see my mom at the emergency room 3 times!! the first time didn't think too much of it, the second time, seemed strange and I complained to the hospital, the third time, gave up on him. my mom was 90 at the time and he just seemed to not want to be involved or take the 'risk' of caring for an elderly person. I was left hanging trying to find another primary to provide for a wheelchair and physical therapy (need a doctor's referral for both). So irresponsible and coward!!

Best experience in a doctor's office. This doctor is the definition of true patient care. True, I waited a few minutes pass my appointment time but this doctor took his time to listen to my medical concerns and explain in great detail my options. Now he is not only my primary doctor but the doctor to several members of my family and even neighbors. I highly recommend his experties and to trust your helth care and concerns to him.

I had an appointment to see the doctor and was kept waiting almost 2 hours after my scheduled time. Once the doctor finally showed up, there was no apology, no explanation, nothing. As if I was lucky to see him at all. If that wasn't bad enough the front end staff is worse. I've called multiple times trying to get the results of a test I had done, and no one ever answers. I've left messages and never get a call back.

Doctor Pena is an intelligent, diligent doctor. He has been gifted with an excellent bedside manner and medical talent. He is a type of medical "sleuth" in that he is very through and takes TIME to listen to you and examine you. This is why one may have to wait a while in the office...But Dr. Pena is worth the wait, believe me. Doctors like Dr. Pena are far too few, we need more of them!
