Childrens Physicians Medical Group's Online Review Report Card

I have been coming to this clinic with no complaints until now! My appointment email states I need to be here no later than 7:45AM I get here 7:40doors are locked and a doctor comes out and says " We don't open until 8" I said I understand that but your email confirmation states to be here at 7:45. He just walks away and said well that hasn't been update! Here we are now 8AM and still doors locked!

We got to our appointment just 10mins before time. It was our first time establishing care. When we walked in a woman at front desk had us sign a list and sit in another room without further questions. 25mins pass by and I go ask about paperwork that I may need to fill out. She completely skipped our name on list we signed when we walked in. But our sticker was removed. Then 3 other people who came in after us got called in. Now 30mins past our appointment time she finally has us signed in. And now medical team in back has to fit us in. Front office was just gossiping about lobster and instagram to the point where my 8 year old said "would those lady's have no respect for there job or the kids here". Dumbfounded I said huh... seems that way doesn't it. Now almost an hour after appointment time we still haven't been called back to see doctor.

Time management is not their strong suit! My wife and 2 year old made it to their appointment early and was not seen for 1 hour and thirty minutes. We assume the lady at the first desk did not check them in properly. Even so, she did not check on them, ask how they were doing as countless people went in before her who arrive after her. There was another more experienced lady who did not step in at any point. There is a chance that the other young lady was new.The usually staff and doctors got to work when they found out what had transpired and were very apologetic. They got them through swiftly when they were aware of what happened. We have never had any issues with the doctors but we forewarn you, stay on top of the check in process.Time management is not their strong suit! Nothing personal but the service at this location is lacking. We are on time for our appointment, actually a few minutes early.  We check in and sit there for almost 30 minutes before they even give a form to fill out. Everyone is nice and pleasant but they need to be more efficient.

The doctors are so kind and knowledgeable as well as the medical staff in the back . I've been coming here with both my children for 7 years. Front desk receptionist is so rude, she cuts you off when you are speaking, has never been friendly, and overall does not look like she wants to be there. As the first person (and someone who has worked there a long time) you see when you check into an appointment,, and luckily is not a reflection of the rest of the team.

Was a few minutes late they closed the office did not wait didn't call or anything drove all that way for nothing.

So I want to say that the CNA and NP I saw were great and that my only problem is wait time. I understand a wait time, I do. This is my third visit and every visit I have waited (from appointment start) a minimum of an hour and a maximum of almost two. I know they are busy but if your going to be THAT late maybe call or schedule less? If it was one time sure but it’s been every time. The longest wait time I had I called asking to be seen and they said that someone canceled and since I lived close to come. I dropped EVERYTHING and ran because the appointment was in like five min. They told ME to come right then so I did. I waited in the waiting room forn 45 min and then waited even longer in the room room. My daughter was 4 weeks old and a premie. Having her out for that long stressed me out and her a lot.TLDR: horrible time management but great staff.

I went to visit the 3rd floor pediatrician for my son this morning. We were asked by Dr. Jacob's to come back on Monday for a "quick" BP check and 30 minutes later we were still there!!! The rude lady, Rachel, who checked us in would not put his chart up to be seen until she checked my insurance info after coming here for over 10 years!!!! She harassed me over and over for a new insurance card and I explained to her it was the same. Meanwhile, the three ladies in the front desk were sitting there talking smack in English and Spanish about how it was too early to deal with a "mom like me." That office prior to COVID was a delight to walk into but NOW, no way! After all this time I will be looking around to have my boys be seen by a different doctor! One of the doctors should really talk to the three young ladies in the front (morning) about their behavior!
