Dr. Ip performed my ICL procedures as well as all pre and post op visits through initial follow up before transferring to Cali. He was caring and compassionate and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. When I had significant eye irritation post op he was prompt in finding a solution and I am so grateful for his skills and knowledge. ICL has been a life changer for me and I highly recommend Dr. Ip and the ICL procedure.

I would strongly recommend Dr. Ip to anyone looking for surgery or a cornea specialist. He makes a point to explain not only the procedure and options, but also the science and anatomy behind his decision, helping you be a part of the process. He is personable and is always genuinely interested in your life. He remembers details from previous conversations even if they weren’t related to medicine and follows up with your overall wellness, not just your eyes. Interactions in clinic and surgery are always positive and marked with a palpable desire to spend time with each client and not just rush through appointments. The quality of treatment was exceptional, and his knowledge is far above that of other ophthalmologists I’ve visited, while he also maintains and active network of consultants to ensure the highest quality of treatment. He makes it a point to be as available as possible, even coming in after hours to treat any discomfort that may arise.

Dr. Ip was very straightforward with my procedures and exams. And this was a good thing. He was kind, catered to my needs (would always adjust the devices for my height) and always gave me fantastic care. He performed my LASIK surgery, to great success. I had very intense astigmatism and he was able to manage his way through it and give me the best result!

I visited Dr. Ip while considering PRK and decided to do the procedure with him. Dr. Ip was very helpful and answered any questions I had. A month after the procedure I see great! I'm very happy with the care I received and the results.

The staff and Dr Mackay are very professional and attentive to your needs.He actually listens and that is a number one issue with a lot of physicians, you find yourself repeating yourself from one visit to the next because the doctor really isn't hearing you. Dr Mackay eased my fear of chiropractors. I walked away better than I walked in. The next day when I woke up I was in better shape than the morning before my first visit with him. I am looking forward to my future visits, I feel that I will accomplish what I need under his care. Will give a update when I finish his services.
