A Sharp Experience in Every Sense of the Word! I Come to the infusion center every six months and It's never easy, no matter how routine might seem on the outside, it's still a deeply emotional experience for me, but every time I walk through those doors of the Douglas and Nancy Barnhart Center im reminded that I'm not going through this alone. There are other patients here battling illnesses from all ranges, but the entire team here makes it easier to handle. From the moment I check in Gisela at the front desk greets me with such genuine, warm and care. She remembers me and always takes the time to ask how im doing and makes my experience better. It means more than words can say. Today my infusion nurse Maribel took incredible care of me. Her compassion and kindness were so calming, especially when my nerves were getting the better of me. All the infusion nurses here that help me have been amazing. They always explain the regimen and keep me comfortable the entire time. These nurses are truly present with you and that makes such a difference. They offer me water, tea, snacks and an eye mask to help me sleep throughout my treatment. Thank you! Keep up the phenomenal work. This team is Definitely a one of a kind Sharp Experience!!!!
