I contacted the dr ofc the friday before christmas to have someone fill a Rx for my mother. I spoke to a woman and she stated that she would call the pharmacy. It was not done. I went to the pharmacy and they were able to give mom a weekend Rx to tie her over. I called again on the Monday before christmas and again someone was going to call. NO ONE DID! This was her high blood pressure medication. On Christmas day, I asked my 84 year old mother if the Rx had been filled, she said 'no.' In calling the answering service countless times that day to be told by the service, "well if your mother needed her Rx why didn't she call prior to Christmas Day." I was appalled at this service. My sister was not able to get the Rx until a week later. This was not acceptable and no doubt put my mother in danger. Now the Dr office is closed, and no indication where this dr has moved on to. All patients have been transfered. Thank God because the service was horrid. My mother could have died.
