Dr. Barrera is an incredible surgeon. I had been sick for 18+ years, and after much testing it was determined that I would need a hiatal hernia repair and fundoplication. Dr. Barrera was very informative and kind throughout the entire process. He was available for questions, and he was happy to further explain a process so that I could fully understand. I came through the surgery incredibly well, and I am feeling better than I have felt in years! Dr. Barrera literally changed my life. I am so grateful to him for his expertise, kindness, compassion, and abilities that have set me up to be healthier than I have been in years. He has continued to support me since surgery, and I am thriving. I would recommend Dr. Barrera to any person in need of the skillsets and talents he possesses. Thank you, Dr. Barrera, for making my life so much better! I am forever grateful to you.

After God I owe Dr. Hugo Barrera my life, I had so different medical & very serious problems, thank God He was able to fix them, with the great team of Drs. That always are call when I get sick and need surgery.

This Dr. Was great, he explained the procedure before my gallbladder surgery. He also did my husband’s surgery. Speedy recovery we both had.

If it were possible, I would give Dr Hugo Barrera a ten star rating. From the first time I meet him, he put my mind at ease. He is very caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable in his work. Less than two weeks after my gallbladder surgery, I feel better than I have felt in three years. Praise God for this gifted man. Thank you so much Dr Barrera

See my review on Vitals.This is the best doctor I have ever seen. I took my sister to see him today 9/20/13. She has a lot of delicate medical issues. He was so kind helpful and informative that he put my sister at ease immediat4ly. I must tell you we have had horrible experiences with oncologists as of late. he was able to say and do what no other doctor has done: explain her medical issues, recommend several options and advise her on all the possibilities there are for her... All the other doctors His positive attitude, options and recommendations never included an expiration date. I am very grateful to him for his kindness and help for my sister. She was so happy when we left his office. he gave us that peaceful hope filled with new ideas options and clarity.I highly recommend this incredible doctor.
