Hugo H Barrera's Online Review Report Card

If his staff is a direct reflection of Dr. Barrera's craftmanship as a surgeon then my hernia and I are in deep trouble. They are just simply a bunch of liars who will deny and change the truth to accommodate their incompetence. I know is more convenient and cost-effective to have employees with not much more than a high school diploma, but with the kind of money that they make for each and every surgical procedure doctors should hire a more competent staff. I will meet with the doctor for the first time time on august the 2nd.

Dr. Barrera is an incredible surgeon. I had been sick for 18+ years, and after much testing it was determined that I would need a hiatal hernia repair and fundoplication. Dr. Barrera was very informative and kind throughout the entire process. He was available for questions, and he was happy to further explain a process so that I could fully understand. I came through the surgery incredibly well, and I am feeling better than I have felt in years! Dr. Barrera literally changed my life. I am so grateful to him for his expertise, kindness, compassion, and abilities that have set me up to be healthier than I have been in years. He has continued to support me since surgery, and I am thriving. I would recommend Dr. Barrera to any person in need of the skillsets and talents he possesses. Thank you, Dr. Barrera, for making my life so much better! I am forever grateful to you.

This Dr. Was great, he explained the procedure before my gallbladder surgery. He also did my husband’s surgery. Speedy recovery we both had.

After God I owe Dr. Hugo Barrera my life, I had so different medical & very serious problems, thank God He was able to fix them, with the great team of Drs. That always are call when I get sick and need surgery.

If it were possible, I would give Dr Hugo Barrera a ten star rating. From the first time I meet him, he put my mind at ease. He is very caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable in his work. I recently had colon surgery by Dr. Barrera. As badly as I needed this procedure, I put it off until the option was gone. He explained everything to me in layman’s terms and without sugar coating it. His candor instills confidence in his ability which is what I needed to go through with the surgery. He has a wonderful demeanor, is dedicated to his patients and doesn’t cut corners when it comes to his time or efforts.

Highly recommend! Excellent General Surgeon. Glad the referral I was given, was with Dr. Barrera. From start to finish of my operation, it was a breeze. He is very bright and professional, and has a lot of experience to ease your mind. His assistant Audrey, who will set up the appointments is very helpful and knowledgeable also.

Dr Barrera is an excellent surgeon and caring doctor! He was able to relieve me from a large galbladder stone within hours. And went out of his way to help me with my health issue while travelling in our motorhome across the country! Highly recommend this surgeon, incisions were minimal and are healing beautifully! Thank you Dr Barrera!!!
