Dr. Larisa Carson has guide me in my women health and really has been very helpful with getting my uterus health back on track. thank you so much! p.s. staff is wonderful!

Dr. Carson is informative and has a warm demeanor. I felt comfortable and safe in her care. She even reviewed my meds and pointed out why i was waking up at night to urinate often. I would recommend her to any women looking for a gyno (especially if you have surgery related trauma).

I really wanted to leave a positive review, but unfortunately my experience didn’t reflect that. I booked my annual visit with Ms. Carson after seeing her listed as a primary care provider through Aetna. Her website focuses on women’s wellness, so I assumed it was general healthcare tailored for women, which seemed in line with what I was looking for. During my visit, I even asked her directly if she functioned as primary care provider, and she responded, “I do it all,” which is why I felt comfortable doing my labs there as well. However, the follow up was where things started to go downhill. When I called after getting my labs back, I called to speak with ms Carson to get a little more insight, but was passed around with no clear answers. I specifically asked that Ms. Carson review my chart to avoid wasting time if there had been a misunderstanding. Instead, I was told to come in again, only to be treated dismissively by the front desk staff, who spoke to me as if I didn’t understand the difference between a primary and a specialist. It was frustrating, to say the least. The communication was unclear, and the experience felt more like a billing opportunity than true patient care. I left feeling like my time and insurance were taken advantage of. Transparency and respect go a long way in healthcare, and unfortunately, that was lacking here.

Dr. Carson made a difficult decision much easier. I had to decide to get a hysterectomy, and consulting with Dr. Carson was very informative, compassionate and professional. She was with me through the whole process and I am healing beautifully thanks to her skill and expertise. I can't thank her enough !!!! 10 stars if I could.

I experience very bad ,I’m really disappointed with my experience. I’ve been waiting over a month for my MRI approval, and I am still waiting, and the lack of communication has made me feel anxious and neglected. I expected better support during such a critical time. I hope they can improve their process for future patients.

She’s warm, compassionate, and always made sure I was comfortable during every visit. She took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything thoroughly, and made me feel genuinely cared for. You can often hear her laughing and chatting with other patients, which speaks volumes about how she connects with everyone. The entire atmosphere at Unique Healthcare is comforting and professional. It’s rare to find a place where both the staff and the doctor are consistently attentive, kind, and efficient. I’m beyond happy to have found such a great OBGYN practice, and I can’t recommend Dr. Carson and her team enough!
