List of Maria D. Oseguera's Reviews
I want to thank Dr. Oseguera, and her staff for all their help and attention to my Mother’s needs. Always caring, and on top of all her needs. I have never had such a caring team like Dr. Oseguera’s team.
They do not care about their patient's life or health! Called this office Friday morning, hoping to get a call or be seen, to let them know my 92 year old mother had COVID and they gave me an appointment for Monday afternoon!
Very horrible experience trying to get a prescription for my dad who is very sick and needs immediate attention. Dealt with the receptionist Alexa and physician Arturo and their customer skills need some attention as well. The experience with this office in general is not satisfactory at all. Lacks a lot of professionalism on their part. If a patient is due medication I feel that it is their responsibility to get that medication to the pharmacy as quickly as possible. Would not recommend this office to no one.
The worst experience! My son and I walked into the (horribly outdated) office, to two receptionists that didn't even look up at us. One was on the phone, the other addressed us by vaguely pointing to a sheet of sticky labels to sign in on. About 10 minutes later the same young woman said she left us a message earlier the same morning that we couldn't be seen until a late payment was made. I asked if I could pay it now and still be seen and she gave me the billing number to call. She said if my payment cleared, they could still see my son. I called the number right in front of her, and was told I could pay it in the office now, and the billing dept would call them immediately to confirm. The receptionist said she couldn't do that, at the same time the billing dept call was coming in. Meanwhile I explained to the 2nd receptionist that my son needs this appointment and is very uncomfortable. She did not show any concern or reply with any sort of acknowledgment, so I sat back down while the 1st receptionist left the front desk to talk to Dr Oseguerra, who then came out, and surprised to see us said out loud "oh, they're here??!" and turned around and left. No hello, no eye contact, no talking to us about what was happening. The receptionist then repeated, we could not be seen even though billing said we could clear the payment at the time of visit. I am left feeling total distrust for this office. I feel Dr Oseguerra and her staff are not interested in the well being of their patients. They were cold, unapologetic, and didn't try to give us solutions. They had the approval to take our payment, and denied us without any urgency for my son's need for care. Not even a suggestion of where to go next, or an attempt to reschedule us. Unbelievable. Unprofessional. Undeserving of our community.
Do not--I repeat, do not. She's rude and unprofessional. Her staff are great, she's focused on billing your insurance and will make you feel like a bill dodging hobo if you voice an issue with that. I've never been spoken to by a doctor the way she spoke to me.She will hold your lab results hostage as well until you have an additional appointment (that she can bill to your insurance.) I called multiple times to explain that my high deductible plan means I am personally paying just for access to my yearly lab screening that I should've been given access to as part of my yearly physical. Pretty sure this office is violating HIPAA? I've never had a doctor flat out refuse to give me basic yearly lab results. Turns out all my numbers were normal with elevated LDL and total Cholesterol. It's not as if they were breaking a cancer diagnosis to me that I wouldn't understand or need assistance interpreting. If you don't want to deal with this, ensure your doctor is part of a hospital system like Sharp.
Dr. Oseguera is a very good doctor. I found her very attentive with my health concerns. She is very nice and spend enough time listening and talking concerning my health issues.
Very bad experience. Nurse practitioner sees you by default and in order for you to see the physician you have to "request” it. Dollars before patients. Nurse practitioner does not exude caring attitude, she is judgemental and rude. Been with several doctors and health groups and this is far the worst clinic. Stay away from this practice.
Very bad experience. Nurse practitioner sees you by default and in order for you to see the physician you have to "request' it. How lazy can you be! Or you just like to cut cost and improve your bottom line? Dollars before patients. I get it. Nurse practitioner does not exude caring attitude and competence in my opinion. She could be judgemental and rude at times. Been with several doctors and health groups and this is far the worst clinic.
Just started with Dr Oseguera, she is thorough and had a plesant manner. I had to reschedule my latest appointment and was able to do so easily.
Dr. Oseguera and her nurse practitioner are the worst! Avoid her practice like the plague! Do not put your health care in their hands. No compassion, judgemental, incompetent, unprofessional, uncaring, and borderline negligent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
