Marisa Gonzalez, Md's Online Review Report Card

Doesn't take Well Women's checkup appointments even though you can book them in the app. Apparently checking for cancer is not a priority of Dr. Gonzalez.

Dr Gonzalez is by far the best OBGYN! She truly cares for her patients. She’s not in and out of the room like other OB’s she takes her time at each visit to address any concerns or questions. Not once did I feel rushed or unheard. Dr Gonzalez is very caring and made me feel very comfortable each visit. I had a wonderful experience with her overall.

She doesn't seem to really care about her patients. She rather just pass them off to another OB or just not get in contact with the patients. She had me running all over the place and nobody would contact me even though she said they would. I had to call her office more them 5 times a day. I messaged her also and never got a response back and still dealing with a miscarriage after two weeks of finding out because her and her office can't seem to figure out what I can do since I was farther along.

My experience with Dr. Marisa Gonzalez has been profoundly disappointing and infuriating. Over the past year and a half, she has canceled my appointments an astonishing four times, blatantly neglecting my medical care. To exacerbate the situation, she inaccurately claimed that I was the one canceling these appointments, which is utterly unprofessional and unacceptable. The one time I managed to make it to her office for an appointment , I waited for 30 minutes without being seen, only to be told on the spot that I couldn’t be seen because I had just started my period. It is baffling that Dr. Gonzalez is apparently unaware that other competent physicians routinely perform pap smears on the first day of a period without any issues. Moreover, she makes no effort to schedule appointments around a patient's menstrual cycle; instead, she expects patients to endure the inconvenience. Her repeated cancellations, misinformation, and lack of basic medical consideration have caused significant delays in my care and immense frustration. I strongly advise anyone seeking reliable and professional medical care to avoid Dr. Gonzalez, especially if you value your time and health. Her approach to patient care is abysmal and unacceptable.

This review is exactly a year overdue- dr. Gonzalez did my c-section when I went into labor early and my regular OB was not on call. Aside from having a relatively easy surgery and recovery, I felt very much at ease and cared for by Dr. Gonzalez. I would happily see her for my regular gyn care if I wasn't also happy with my current OB/GYN.

Dr. Gonzalez was the MD on call during a weekend when I was having some issues with my pregnancy. She was incredibly compassionate, knowledgable, and took a lot of time out of her weekend to help me. I have not met her in person because her office is far from me, but I was so impressed by her support after hours that I will probably drive the distance to see her next time I need OBGYN services. Highly recommend!

Dr. Gonzalez is a very kind and caring doctor. She made me feel very comfortable. She is a good listener and doesn't rush through your appt. and answers all of your questions.
