MIchael Lenihan's Online Review Report Card

I'm sure Dr. Lenihan is a great doctor... However, making patients regularly wait for 60 minutes + is not recommended and inconsiderate... You have been practicing for sufficiently long to know that just packing your schedule with patients and pilling then in the waiting room like cordwood is bad patient management. I would hope and expect better than one hour wait as your regular course of business

I had 2 knee surgeries with Dr. Lenihan after a workplace warehouse accident. I strongly believe most Orthopedic Surgeons tend to be "cutters" and their solution is mostly surgery ("to the hammer every problem looks like a nail"). IMHO Dr. Lenihan is a "healer" first. When I first started seeing him for approximately 9 months, we tried everything for me (Physical Therapy, specific knee exercises, a brace, stretching, etc.) prior to declaring we were out of non-surgical options and I needed to really consider surgery. Also, when one surgery he performed determined the damage was worse than the MRI showed and I needed a partial knee replacement he referred me to another Orthopedic Surgeon who specialized in that procedure instead of doing it himself (I would never have known the difference but he wanted me to have the very best treatment possible). I would recommend Dr. Lenihan to anyone with an orthopedic issue. If he determines he is not the very best for your situation he will refer you to an Orthopedic specialist who is. I could not be more pleased with my treatment and the outcome.

I had right shoulder impingement as well as a torn rotator cuff muscle. This included serious range of motion and pain issues. A long string of physical therapy as well as home regiment gave me full range of motion. I never had surgery. I hope Synergy fixes their admin staff communication issues. Although they were courteous and respectful, they were a mess with scheduling appointments. I still gave five stars because the medical outcome was great!!

My knee surgery performed by Dr. Lenihan was a success and after 2 months and PT, I am back to exercising daily and feeling healthy and strong again. The entire process was patient-centered and made me feel comfortable, prepared and at ease with the decision to have surgery to repair a torn meniscus.

Dr. Lenihan is not only intelligent and skilled, but he is an extremely nice and caring person. He truly wants you, the patient, to overcome your injury and pain. My wife and I have been loyal patients for years. Unfortunately, as our ages increase so do our pains. Also, a quick thank you to Dr. Chadha who leads the field in hip replacements.

I am proud to call myself a patient of Dr. Lenihan's. After a very successful knee surgery I ended up having him do the surgery on my other knee. That surgery also turned out incredibly successful. After a few years I needed to have shoulder surgery and went straight back to Dr. Lenihan to complete it as well. Once again it was a successful surgery. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. HIs demeanor and calm bedside manor helped to make the process so much easier. Thanks Doctor for keeping me whole!

Dr. Lenihan is an absolutely fantastic doctor, his staff is also incredible!!!

The doctors and his office as well as all the support staff is a “10”. Their professionalism is of the highest caliber!
