An amazing and compassionate doctor! She took care of my elderly father's glaucoma and my mother's diabetic retinopathy. She is knowledgeable, kind and a skillful retina surgeon! Her cosmetic practice in La Jolla is second to none!

Absolutely the worst place anyone can go. Always overbooked, have always waited 1hr plus before doctor sees patients, staff is friendly but often have out loud conversations. Doctor barely spends 5 minutes with you and after waiting for 3 hours has you out the door in minutes. This place is ridiculous

I went to see this doctor for double vision. I was in her office being put through a battery of tests for hours. At the end when she was supposedly finished she had not addressed the double vision. I said, but what about that. She looked at me as if she suddenly didn't understand English, she apparently didn't know what I was talking about. She just stated that she didn't see anything that would cause it. Though I left the office still having double vision. I am still considering suing her for failure to diagnose. Because, it would seem that my double vision is being caused by myesthenia gravis. Shouldn't she have been educated well enough to recognize this? What a quack!

Dr Mani and her staff were rude, uncourteous, and extremely unprofessional. Her attitude and approach to my case was very disappointing and I will never go back to her clinic

I agree with the rating of 4/2010. The office staff is unprofessional. They have loud conversations about private information. They don't listen and ask the same questions over and over. Dr. Mani breezes in with hardly a hello. She doesn't have a good bedside manner. I think she cares about her patients but is overbooked and overworked. She barely speaks to the patient, dictates her findings into a recorder to be transcribed, and does not explain the problem. There are patients waiting inside and outside of the office. I think her office staff acts like she does as though patients are cattle.
