List of Rosa M. Navarro's Reviews
This will be the 2nd time I have brought my mom here to this Doctor. The staff is very rude and very unprofessional. We forgot my moms medications and the receptionist helping us is acting as if we just ruined her day. She is the very same receptionist that help us check in the first time we came here. My mom is very sick and weak. And has constant pain shooting up her back and legs. She moves very slow but tries her best to get around and I know that the staff can see that but are still very rude. I will be looking for another Doctor for my mom.
As a caregiver to my elderly mother I brought her in for her first appointment. The receptionist was extremely rude and said said only the patient was allowed in the office. It wouldn't have been a problem if we hadn't noticed multiple families with 2-3 people in the waiting room. I usually am not the one to write bad reviews but my mother was scared going in alone to get injections in her neck.Update: After my mom voiced her concerns about wanting her son/caregiver in the room with her the office allowed me in. Still one star service. Do better
I didn't make it far enough Past the rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful 2 ladies who work as receptionists in order to see the doctor. First Impressions, are a signature mark and if they represent their company like this(seen reviews), then I can only say that the doctor doesn't mind this type of behavior.
So glad I took over my grandmas care, after my 83 year old grandmother had syncope and no pain relief at all I swithched her to pain care of San Diego now she has good quality of life. Thank God I got her out of Dr. Navarros care.
The people that answer the phone need training on customer service. The tone of voice from all staff sounds like they are being bothered by the call. In person eyes being rolled while checking in. No smile and they don't look up. The doctor and nurse were great and friendly.
Because of covid I was told to wait outside. They lost my mom. She was wandering around looking for the restroom. The staff in front were rude to me when I asked why they left her in the hallway when they said they would call me when she was done.
I made an appointment and let rep know I have new insurance. They said it was fine and made my appointment. Alina calls me today to say it's cancelled. They didn't check their end, update, nothing. Then why didn't you do your job? I work in healthcare. With doctors as well. I never schedule any surgery patient without checking their insurance and NEVER cancel the day on or before. Look hun, piece of advice...do the whole job. One patient, check insurance, see if you have the referral...then YOU WON'T CANCEL MY IMPORTANT APPOINTMENT! WHICH TOOK A MONTH TO GET. #1 RULE IN BEING A MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST.
Dr. Navarro and her staff were very kind and thorough. Even when it came to my scheduling for a follow up, she was able to work with me.
I've been coming here for about 3 years and never once had a bad experience. Everyone was kind and caring . A lot of the reviews I've read are common sense (don't take children to any appointmentes, and don't show up until 15 minutes prior) or it will seem like you're waiting longer. Dr. Navarro is always willing to disguise any questions I have. .
I am surprised reading some of the reviews on here. I have been going to Dr. Navarro for about two years now, I have never had a problem with appointments, scheduling, or anything. The entire staff is always very professional, and my procedures are usually pretty quick. I enjoy the atmosphere, the professionalism, and the service.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
