HealthExpress is really hit or miss. You might get someone amazing Iike Yvonne or Jaclyn, or you might get someone awful like Christie Remigio or Tiffany (can’t remember her last name). The quality of care really needs to be more predictable. I can’t stress enough how frustrating it is to deal with someone patronizing or dismissive.As far as regular doctors go, it’s just too hard to get an appointment. I don’t want to be super sick on November 17 and see that the earliest appointment available with any doctor is December 9.

Wonderful doctor and so thorough! I have been with Dr. Brunsting for years however, since he will be retiring soon, I am so fortunate to have found Dr. Amanat!

The medical care is great.. WHEN you can get it. I can’t say anything about other providers but in theory my medical team is with Dr.Trausch. But they have so many patients If you’re sick there’s no point in even trying. Better to just go to urgent care.Even scheduling a “non urgent” medical appointment with a member of their care team can be regularly two weeks out. I’ve been trying to be seen for A MONTH. Two reschedules later and I’m leaving the practice. If there aren’t enough providers to account for appointments within two days, or to carry the weight when someone calls out, then there’s a problem.Oh. And it is completely unprofessional to call a patient at 7am. Especially to cancel a video call. I can be notified via the app or called at 8am like any other cancelation.

I went to the express clinic twice and each time had a quick and painless experience. Both visits I got in right away, saw the PA quickly and got my issue taken care of. Office staffing was lean both times, but the intake person was professional, friendly and efficient and I had no issues getting in and out.

Was early for my appointment. Had to leave without seeing Miss Nena Cockroacha after waiting for over an hour to see her.Rocha wasted my time AND my money.

They canceled my appointment the morning of due to their system being hacked. I called a week later to see about rescheduling and I was informed the systems were still down. Going on 3 weeks now and still haven't been called to reschedule. Other offices have a nearly 2 month wait and I needed to be in for an annual exam in May, so that's incredibly inconvenient and unsatisfactory.

Have been trying to get an appointment fo an emergency room follow up for 2 days. Not a single call back after being told someone would call me back immediately. 30 plus minute wait times to speak with an answering service is completely unsatisfactory for any healthcare facility. Since get hit with Ransomware Scripps clearly does not have patients care in mind

I am writing this review to say thank you to Sylvia, a front office employee at Scripps Coastal Medical Center. She has excellent customer skills and is extremely helpful. The rest of the staff are great as well but Sylvia is a star.
