From the moment I met Mr. Eves he came off as rude and passive aggressive. I felt a negative vibe from him and I was uncomfortable knowing he would be performing my surgery based on his personality. After looking at some reviews I confirmed I wasn’t the only person who felt like this and decided to go with a different orthopedic.

Never got to see doctor . Nut the nurses said they knew what was wrong . Would not listen about my chronic pain. Started giving me these jell shot by second shot the pain got worse. My knee now gives out on me when walking. All they cared about is was I going to finish the jell shots and was not there problem that the shots put me in chronic pain. They act like I was lying about pain what kind ...

It's my first time there I see comments but they where friendly there at the office and professional you have to treat them with respect and am sure ,they will be nice also they deal with so many characters and Dr Eves took care of me and Stephanie also so 5 star's to staff and everyone there TKS!!!

Dr. Eves is rude, constantly will interrupt you, will not give a timeline for treatment, and is insensitive to any pain you're going though. Only wants to give you shots for temporary relief and wait see in about 3 months, to see if it works. That took 10 mins of me aggressive asking how long he wanted me to wait in pain before his plan for shots doesn't work. He was so rude that his PA who was in the room with us apologize after he left, still doesn't FIX the problem. Front house doesn't wear mask properly and doesn't enforce masks on their patients, so you're in the waiting room with some people with mask and some without. Offices are very dated.

Terribly unprofessional practice. My husband received a referral here from his PCP through Sharp after breaking his wrist. We were told systems were down so he had to travel to his PCP office and imaging office to bring them the paperwork they would need as a new patient. After bringing in all the paperwork they had requested he was told they would not accept him as a patient. No reason was given. Now we are scrambling to get in with another specialist and he has had an untreated displaced fracture for a week.

Every time I go to the office I'm waiting in the waiting area for over 30 min. Then I go to the room and have to wait another 30 min. The front staff is rude. They referred me to physical therapy and never informed me that my referral got approved by my insurance. So they had to resubmit and played the waiting game. Terrible office and experience. Highly recommend to see a different orthopedic.

Just tried making an appointment with this office. The administrative assistant was very off-putting and rude. She asked about my insurance, which was irrelevant because I wanted to pay out of pocket anyway, and quickly told me "oh no, we don't accept that insurance!" How rude and and prejudicial can you be? Hint--this is an appropriate professional response - " Ok, well I need to let you know that we don't accept that insurance, are you planning of paying out of pocket?". See, not so hard. Anyway, I didn't even want to to go any further with this dismal service up front.

I barely even know where to start. I left my appointment in tears. I've had neck pain for years and when I switched to Sharp I really thought I'd be getting a better level of care but I have never felt so disrespected by a doctor. None of the staff listened to me at all. The doctor poked my shoulder once and offered me "a topical gel" as though I don't already own all of them. I didn't get the chance to ask questions or ask for any specific treatment plans. It's just another referral to physical therapy and Bengay. This was useless. Just useless. They don't care.

Dr. Eves is very knowledgeable and professional. His staff is very friendly. They treat us with companionship. Best Orthopedic in Chula Vista.

Dr. Eves office acts as a Collection Agency. They harass you even when you have solid insurance and are up to date on your bill payments. Their phone calls implying you are a serial debtor are highly offensive, and frankly, outright intrusive. Good medical staff, terrible financial management.
