Dr. Yang took such good care of me during an emergency cholecystectomy. Great bedside manners, super nice and great at explaining everything thoroughly. He did an amazing job and my incisions, they were not that painful and was able to recover very quickly. Thank you so much for you services. Blessed to have been in such good hands during a very scary moment.
Dr. Yang was the Surgeon scheduled for Coronado Sharp Hospital on September 3rd, 2021…Thank God! I’d returned to the ER that day (1st visit was 8/30/21 with N/V/D) due to increased intolerable symptoms of gallstones. Dr. Yang, Dr. Apel/ER Dr. that night, “Trevor” the Anesthesiologist, were exceptionally caring, professional and knowledgeable in the process of what needed to be done, without any hesitation…their bedside manner is also to be highly commended, as this quality in the medical profession (amongst others) is a rarity, unfortunately. They were EXTREMELY caring & transparent where I felt safe in their hands. Dr. Yang kept his word and called family after my surgery to give detailed update of my surgery and provided the needed comfort, since they couldn’t be with me due to COVID-19 protocol. Again, I Thank God that the PERFECT Doctor’s were where they were for this much needed surgery on September 3rd, 2021. You are truly esteemed and so very much appreciated!
I had a nice experience with Dr. Yang both in his office and for my surgery. I was very impressed with his work. Dr. is caring, and he explained everything to me. He doesn’t have you waiting very long to be called in the bck. The office staff put you on hold when on the phone for quite a period of time, but other then that I was satisfied.
I would not recommend him, speaking from personal experience that I would rather not go into detail about.
Dr. Yang is an absolute gift from above.I can't thank him enough for saving my brothers life and performing a complicated surgery on him. He was very patient and took the time to answer all my questions over the phone after a 7+ hour surgery .I couldn't be with my brother in hospital because of covvid. He really cares about his patients and I truly believe my brother is alive today because Dr. Yang ...
Dr Yang was covering for my surgeon while I was in the hospital. I had surgery yesterday been in the hospital since 1/1/19 had a complicated ERCP on 1/1/19 have been in pain every since and vomiting . Every form of Xrays have been done.. Without even opening my chart he advances my diet to regular diet. I spent at least 3/4 days extra vomiting worse than before because of this! Being a RN I know it is always a good idea to listen to the patient and or open the chart., Definitely not the Sharp Experience..
This office is the worst! I was referred here by another doctor. Dr. Yang has no bedside manner and didn't have the time to even explain his thoughts or his office process. He spent no more than 5 minutes in the room with me. Then to find out what was going on I had to call and talk to his "assistant" who told me I had to wait for 1-2 weeks for an authorization. Two weeks have come and gone. I called my insurance and found out Dr. Yang's office never even submitted a referral request.
Horrible experience!!!! Had surgery a month and half ago, haven't healed at all, dr. Hasn't removed my stitches. I Kept calling for an appointment and they never bothered to call back. (Called five times left messages and spoke to someone once). You walk in to see a doctor and this one doesn't even listen to his patient, he doesn't care, always rushing you to get out. I Had to go to the hospital myself and will be having surgery AGAIN .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
