I knew I wanted Dr. Chun to be.my doctor the first ti.e I.met him. He is knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to listen to me and explained things throughly. I was told by Well Space that he is only doing telephone visit which bums.ne out. But I'd rather have a telephone visit with him than see anyone else. Dr Chun. I will miss not seeing you in person. And I am sure many others feel the same way. Thanks or everything you have done for so many people.
Horrific bedside manner. My father not only had to wait hours past the scheduled time for his appointment (because for some unknown reasons, the clinic called his emergency number), but upon calling, Dr. Chun was extremely rude and condescending when dealing with him. Seeing as he is an older man in his 70s with memory and reading issues, he was unable to correctly say the name of his medication and so he recruited my help. I was in the middle of another chore so it took me a minute to be aware of what was happening and before I could get the words out, he interjected with a childish, “Oh my God, just read it off the label.” I have no doubt in my mind that Dr. Chun works with many elderly patients and so he should be very use to dealing with prolonged responses and forgetful situations. There is no excuse for his unprofessional, abusive language and if anyone reading this has elderly parents who deal with him, you may want to reconsider that association.
Horrible doctor. Barely spends any time with patients and clearly never even glances at the chart before speaking to patients. Makes assumptions.
I agree the dr is great going threw well space is a joke it's easier for me to walk in the office to make appointments then to try and call pretty approvals I have to chase down. myself took 8 mnths for them to find cardiologist that took insurance they do not make it easy I find myself calling repeated days and weeks for the same reason but the dr hes great
I have been a patient of Dr. Chun for quite some time. He is an awesome doctor who provides excellent patient care. He takes the time to listen and makes sure that all your needs are addressed. However, ever since WellSpace took over managing the office, it's gone downhill. Trying to make an appointment is so frustrating. When you calling you get a call center with long wait times. Eventually, you get a message that tells you all staff are busy so leave a message. You leave a message and never get a call back. Many time I have to send my husband to physically go into the office to make my appointment. The other struggle is getting a referral to a specialist. Per my insurance, the referral is doctor to doctor so it does not have to be approved by the medical group. It takes me having to call my insurance for their referral department to do their job. Due to the current care I'm under, I cannot change the PCP at this time. Otherwise, I would go elsewhere. LPrice
Very upset that I wasn't notified about Dr. Chun no longer taking Aetna Insurance. I just saw him in June. Plus the communication is absolutely HORRIBLE. I spent several minutes on the phone with his office and was told to call my insurance to make sure I'm still active in the system. I did call my insurance and I was active. But when they called Dr. Chun's office to say that I'm active in the sysem, they then told my insurance that they no longer take this insurance. It could of been resolved if she just told me that on the phone. And no notification at all not even a letter is so unprofessional!!!!!
I have been recently referred to Dr. Chun my primary GP relocated to another Hospital. Dr. Chun has provided outstanding support and has provided thorough follow-ups on lab work and other specialists referred information. I have severe Type 2 Diabetes (insulin dependent), chronic hypertension, high cholesterol, disabling lower back damage, and severe diabetic neuropathy and arthritis in my feet, all of which have been addressed accurately and thoroughly. Recommend highly.
Dr. Chun and Desiree are both fabulous helpful people!Dr. Chun took my 84 year old mother on an emergency appointment basis. My wheelchaired mother broke her hip and wrist about 3 weeks ago....and yet Dr. Chun took care of us.He gets a 10-star from us!!!And the patients in his office provided me with $7.50 exact change for the Wheel CHair Dial a Ride that goes from Eskaton Village to everywhere else in Rosevile. These patients listened to my desperate calls to find a wheelchair taxi. His patients also get a 10-star!
Dr. Chun was my husbands doctor for about 6 months and so I had prior knowledge of him and I knew that if the opportunity came around I would do everything within my power to get him as my primary doctor. He was phenomenal professional from my very first experience with him. He is an older doctor but that has not slowed him down. It reminds me of my old doctor from back in my hometown. Dr. Chun has my utmost respect as a doctor and human being.
This Dr. is in his 80's and his hands shake now and he doesn't really listen or pay attention.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
