List of Bonnie Woo's Reviews
I think Dr. Bonnie Woo used to be A caring and patient doctor, but not any more. She treated my mom like little kid without any respect. And she didn't provide good solution to her problem. You just don't feel she care about patient's pain. I wish she can pbecome A good doc again.
Dr Woo is an excellent surgeon. She’s very detailed, kind and compassionate. Highly recommend.
I was referred to see Dr. Bonnie Woo back in year 2016 by the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center after a black line appeared on my left eye one day. I highly recommend Dr. Bonnie Woo because she was the "only" ophthalmologist, who was willing to take the "high risk" to replace the lenses on both of my eyes. My right eye's cataract was at stage 4, and my left eye's cataract was at stage 2. No ophthalmologists were willing to take the "high risk" to operate on both of my eyes after I had been wearing many pairs of very thick eye glasses for 50+ years, except Dr. Bonnie Woo, who was very patient to explain in details about the poor condition of both of my eyes before and after the surgeries. After the cataract surgery of my right eye on 11/20/2017 and the cataract surgery of my left eye on 1/29/2018, I have been able to read without wearing any thick eye glasses anymore. I continue to see Dr. Bonnie Woo every six months for checkups. As always, Dr. Bonnie Woo is very attentive and answers whatever questions that I have in details.
I went there to see Boonie Woo and I can tell she is not a caring doctor. She does not have patient and got horrible attitude. My Dad asked a simple eye related question and she simply respond with "no" and didn't even offer any explanation nor suggestions. Horrible experience.
"I went to see Dr. Woo for cataract. First time she was very kind. She told me that besides cataract I need to do laser for narrow angle or I will get glaucoma or blind and never heal. She also said laser is very simple and I can drive home afterwards. I google online, it is not like what she said. Even her office staff told me that after surgery I could not drive home myself. I was told by other two doctors I can just do cataract surgery to solve both both problems. Since I did not do laser next time I went to see her she was very cold and rude. She said do not wait till blind then go to see her. I asked how about do cataract surgery? She said no, laser first then cataract surgery. So she can earn double fees and I suffer two times?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
