Jennifer C Sun's Online Review Report Card

Dr Sun has been my primary for years and years.  My husband and adult children see her now too. I've moved several times over the years but continue to travel to Dr Sun's location.  She is kind, she listens, her bedside manner is the best I've ever seen from a medical professional, and she treats me like an important individual, instead of just like another appointment. My entire family loves her so I know I'm not just being bias. It's not often you come across such a great doctor, I'm happy I found her and hope to be a patient for many years to come!

The doctor is great but the receptionist suck as the lady is rude and does not seem to care about the patients. I have to try calling multiple times before someone would pick up the phone. Also the technology is outdated--printer does not work for 2 weeks and appointment system is down for 1 week so no appointments. What is going on?? Also due to COVID she does NOT do in-person visit unless you're coming for a physical. ALL MY OTHER DOCTORS I CAN SEE IN PERSON!! Got make some changes or business will go down hill. I wish her all the best though... My wife and I have lost patience with the difficulties of dealing with things that don't work and bad staff. We are finding a new doctor.

Really nice doctor, but cordiality isn't care. They don't do in-person appointments and rarely call back. I had an urgent issue, and called multiple times about it. The doctor never called me back. They turn off their phone after hours so you cannot leave a voicemail.

Tldr: FIRE YOUR RECEPTIONISTS!Sigh. I thought all the reviews about the staff being rude and non-existent were the exception. Unfortunately, no, they're the rule. Dr. Sun, PLEASE!! FIRE YOUR RECEPTIONISTS and hire better ones. This doesn't reflect well on your business, and as much as I like you as a person and a doctor, I will sadly have to look for another PCP.1. My husband had to call MULTIPLE TIMES just to schedule a follow-up to his ultrasound, which happened a week ago. We never heard back from anyone during that week. When he finally got a hold of someone, they scheduled him for a follow up 2 weeks from now!! I can't believe we had to do everything ourselves. No guidance at all from the staff.2. I have an appt today at 4:30pm. It's currently 3:45 and I still have not heard from anyone, NO EMAILS, NO PHONE CALLS, NO TEXTS, about any sort of confirmation. I guess I'll just consider this cancelled. What a waste of my time.RECEPTIONISTS, SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT DOING YOUR JOB! I hope you yourselves don't need to find a doctor asap, because you're playing with people's lives.

Update: I was finally able to talk to Dr. Sun after about 20 mins of calling the front desk. I just wish it wasn't this difficult to get an update from anyone in the office. Honestly, a simple "Hi, yes we have you down for 4:30 and the doctor will call you when she's done" would have made me feel much better.---Tldr: FIRE YOUR RECEPTIONISTS!Sigh. Good if you have a minor scrape or something small. Anything beyond that don’t do it! No communication and lack of response. She sent me for blood work three weeks ago and I still haven’t heard from her. She was supposed to schedule an MRI for me, after waiting two weeks my surgeon had to step in and schedule for me. I finally got a call from her receptionist a week after I had my MRI. I was directed by Dr. Sun on my zoom appointment with her child in the background to go to her office and pick up paperwork my wife had to go as well for paperwork when we got there the office was closed after knocking on the door for a few minutes for reception is finally came to the door and treated us like we were going to rob the place. The office is never open and the receptionist is no help at all. Like I said if you sprain your hip doing yoga or something she’s good to talk to on a zoom call other than that you’ll probably never see her. Good luck!

Dr Jennifer Sun, you really should fire your front desk. See those reviews here and on Google. Pay attention to your reputation please. I used to call your office but nobody answered the phone, so I drove there and I saw two ladies sitting there laughing. I called your office again. You know what,they just kept laughing not answering it. If this is what you want your service to be like, then good luck.
