Dr. Shavarim is truly one of the best. He removed my cataracts and make the experience soo easy. He was very reassuring throughout the entire process. As an added bonus, he’s nice to look at too!

I went to Dr. Shivaram for the purpose of evaluating my eyes for possible cataract surgery. With his excellent care I had both eyes operated on. The staff at his office were very nice efficient. All of my visits there have been great. I would like to preface my remarks in that I am a retired medical professional and the care I received is what I would expect if it were given by me and the office that I worked for. The little details and expert help m9rant alot. I have had just the opposite with other medical offices so this experience has been wonderful. Finally as we all know, having any procedure on your eye's can be very daunting but the procedures I experienced was gratefully easy and painless. I am very thankful that it is done and my visual acuity is great.

I have been seeing Dr. Sunil Shivaram at Claremont Eye Associates for 25 years or so. Dr. Shivaram is at the top of his profession and extremely responsive to his patients. And, while they are very busy, his staff is extremely pleasant and efficient; they are organized such that rarely is there a significant wait. In Dr. Shivaram's absence, I have also consulted on an emergency basis with Dr. McDermott, who was responsive enough - and kind enough - to work me in right at closing on a Friday.

I was very happy with the whole experience. Everyone was competent and friendly.

My wife & I have been patients of Dr. Shivaram for probably 20 years. Dr. Shivaram and his staff have never been anything but professional, courteous and gracious. My wife had cataracts removed from both eyes and I have the same plus a cancer surgically removed from my lower eyelid. Out of an abundance of caution Dr. Shivaram will wait at least 6 months between cataract removals. He will not remove both at the same time. I give them 5 stars and highly recommend this group.

Dr. Shivaram's attention to cataract issues over several years, as well as his sensitivity to issues of aging, gave us confidence in making informed decisions about surgery. The Claremont Eye Associates support staff was consistently responsive and efficient. All in all, we felt very well cared for by this team of first-rate professionals.

My primary care doctor referred me to their recommended Opthomologist, which being gracious, I can only refer to a "scary". I changed my primary care doctor and Care Provider, in order to get to Dr. Sunil. He met with me, explained the options for my care, and recommended an plan that was best for me, and not based on increased fees, like the scary-place. Two weeks after surgery, I have moved from legally blind in one eye, due to cataracts, to seeing 20/20. There was not a single problem. I fully trust the ethics of Dr. Sunil. He has a very busy schedule, but you will be blessed, if you can get him as your Doctor..
