List of Action Urgent Care's Reviews
Jose was so caring! Took the time to take a careful history of my problem. I was treated professionally by the staff. I am thoroughly pleased and would highly recommend!
I went in to the Clovis location which is in the Von’s grocery store. Thinking I was going to see a doctor at the urgent care, not knowing this location does not have any doctors onsite. This location only offers virtual appointments with a doctor. The doctor basically said “oh you need to be seen by a doctor “. No kidding, I thought that’s what I was doing. So $40 and 2 hours later just to be told I need to go see a doctor. Don’t waste your time or money going to this urgent care! Go see a real doctor.
I went to this Urgent Care facility for Covid testing. The location is clean and quick to see patients. I recommend this location.
The Doctor was very nice and explained everything clearly. It was very clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
They have multiple locations and closing time will depend on location. Fast service and caring staff.
This place do NOT care about your health. They only care about getting you to come to see them so that they can either charge you or the insurance. I would have given it a 0 star if it were an option. I went there for a routine annual physical exam, they took my blood samples and said when the lab result is back. They will let me know. They never called me with the results. When I called and asked for my lab results, they said I need to make an appointment to come in and discuss the result. I am normally a healthy person, and I just simply said whether there is anything in my result that I should be concerned about. They insisted that I need to make an appointment to come in and discuss. I said a result can just be good or bad, it will take 2 minutes over the phone, if I come in, you will be charging a fee. They said there will be no out-of-pocket money for me, they just bill the insurance. I did not feel they should charge the insurance either for such a simple task because I felt it was just a way for them to make a quick buck. So I did not agree to make an appointment and was told I can go in there and pick up my results myself. So I went in and picked up my blood work lab results. Guess what, in the report, there is a column shows my results and there is another column shows the normal range of the of the corresponding metric, so it does not take a medical degree to figure out whether your number is within the normal range. I went over all the numbers on 3 pages of the report in about 2 minutes and luckily everything is within range. I am very disappointed that this place will not just simply tell me everything is okay and insist that I need to come in for something that take only 2 minutes for a lay person like me. They only care about billing patient and/or insurance so that they can make a quick dollar! Will not go here again.
Called for appointment. Was set at 2pm for Tele apt didn't get a call so I had to call numerous times only to have to provide my info 30 min past due my apt time. Then had to go through the process all over again for the 4th time then was told I had to do a zoom or face time meeting. After that the front desk person or which ever lady was helping me sends me the link without an ID number or apt time resulting in me having to call fir the 5th or seventh time going through the process again. Mind you I'm in pain. It seems as if my case or apt didn't matter and was left carelessly. I don't think I'll be going to these people again. So over two hours past my apt time and pretty much was just forgotten about without a care.
Did the telemedicine appointment for my mother and told them to send the medication to the Walgreens at a specific location and sent it to a CVS. The doctor was good but the follow up and attention to detail was poor. Where do you get CVS from Walgreens SMH! I DONT write reviews but hate waiting almost an hour at a pharmacy and then calling action urgent care back and being told that oh yes it was sent to CVS. I WAS LIKE I JUST CALLED AND TOLD THEM THE CORRECT PHARMACY. FINALLY got the correct pharmacy. However the doctor could have told what medication and what pharmacy the meds were going to so that could have been confirmed at the end of the virtual visit so the patient and family members aren't strained for time. Attention to detail "Action Urgent Care" You are medical providers and your customers deserve better. Don't get money greedy and go for numbers and neglect quality. If I could give negative stars I would and I hardly ever leave reviews.
Nursing Staff has always been great and the Doctors have as well. I will continue to use them.
I love this place. Abel is so good. He is friendly and compassionate. He gets his stuff done efficiently and I know the wait will be minimal. I hate going to the doctor at all because of the wait and discomfort of your typical process, but with action care I know I can feel better and not have to go through all that.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
