Ladies that are at the entrance of the emergency room are rude as fuck, the doctors at this hospital say any and everything is covid. So stupid.
I was scheduled for surgery the 2 did pre register on the 30th which I got the wrist band . I come get surgery on the 2 at 10:30 am they couldn't find me . I had to run around . Was in prep room for 2 half hours . Didn't get out till after 5pm . I started fasting at 12am today the night before . You really need to make sure y'all don't over book because this shit was not appropriate. It's one thing for me to starve myself but this was torcher . They need to deduct some of price for this. .
I've had surgery at CCMC before but I've never had to go through obtaining tests (EKG, blood work & X-ray) for a procedure being performed at a doctor's office. The experience of REGISTRATION IS AWEFUL!!!First, I can't make an appointment to perform the required tests so I'm considered a walk-in. Fair enough but WAITING FOR OVER AN HOUR to be entered into the system is absurd!! I was told by the nicest check-in lady that appointments have priority and as much as I didn't want to be frustrated with her as she was doing all she could to have me seen, well, I hope I wasn't too mean.Second, when I finally was registered and went to get my tests done everyone except the phlebotomist was either on break or at lunch. So ANOTHER TWO HOURS of waiting. The facility is great, staff is pretty awesome as well - everyone encountered was nice enough. However the process of REGISTRATION and Rotation of staff needs to be improved.
worst ER experience I've ever had, i almost fainted and my heart felt like it was pounding out of my chest so my mom took me to the ER. I got there told them what was happening and sat there with my heart pounding for 2 hours and when they finally saw me and took my blood pressure the nurse made weird comments saying no way I would've fainted etc, almost trying to challenge me.. meanwhile my heart is pounding I just wanted it to go down. So i sat there for hours and eventually got an IV but they didn't do anything to slow my heart down. So i went home feeling almost the same. Billed my mom like a thousand dollars, what a bunch of clowns.
GOD BLESS the good people that work here. My son went to his doctor twice and to an urgent care once and they would send him home and say he's fine! But his mother knows him best and she disagreed so she didn't stop!!! She took him to Clovis community and they didn't and wouldn't stop until they figured out he had Pneumonia. From the bottom of my heart I wish all the staff at this hospital the best in life and may god bless them and watch over them thanks guys for taking care of my boy like he's your own. You guys are fucking legends!!! Much love!! Thank god there's still good people in this world.
I am immunocompromised, I have a disability & I have COVID. I was having severe chest pain and trouble breathing so my husband took me to the ER. I was having a panic attack, could barely walk, or talk. I told them I couldn't breathe and they had me double up masks. They would not let my husband be with me even as an advocate. They made me sign paperwork when I literally could not even state my own name. No one listened when I was telling them about my other medical problems (which could cause serious complications) and then they told me to go wait in the waiting area for 45+ minutes. I've never seen an ER so packed. There was no where to sit and again I'm immunocompromised and when I asked if there was another area I could wait, the nurse or whoever WOULDNT EVEN LOOK UP AT ME!! As I mentioned I also have a disability they did not offer me a wheelchair or a seat. They actually told me "you need to move" because I was standing too far from all the other sick people. I was being stared at by employees and other patients. I was visibly shaking, sweating & could barely talk. One nurse came over and told me to be quiet and breathe through my nose and shoved tissues at me. (You try breathing through your nose when you have covid and are in the ER FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO BREATHE) If they even dare try to send me a bill for ANYTHING. (Mind you I walked out and was NOT treated) I'll sue. Don't go here in an emergency. They will just let you die right in front of them. Hey maybe then you'll get a room!
My doctor requested a diagnostic exam for me through Clovis community. I never got a call to schedule it. I ended up calling them 5 times and each time received a voice message saying to leave a message and they would call me back. Hahaha.... that hasn't happened. I see my doctor on Friday so I will have him send me somewhere else. So sad they don't answer their phone or return calls. I even went through the switchboard for help.
I have been going to this clinic for a year and half and the best experience I have ever received. My doctor is Dr. Do. Is a great person, good listener and follow up. Excellent job !!!!!
I used to love this hospital but they've gotten so unprofessional and rude. I had a very unpleasant and uncomfortable stay at the hospital. I originally went in for stomach pains and they informed me that they had to remove my gallbladder. They made me feel uncomfortable and unimportant. They did not do their jobs right. They talked back to you and said stuff under their breath or behind my back and they did not take me seriously at all . Until I went to the hospital for the third time in a row. And it wasn't just one person who was rude and mean it was a lot of people who acted that way. I don't understand why people think it's ok to treat people so poorly. In fact the very last dr I saw asked me how my pain was before I knew I had to have surgery and I explained to her that this pain was a 15/10 and she said I doubt that and laughed at me . It wasn't until then I said EXCUSE ME UHM YEA I AM IN THIS AMOUNT OF PAIN. One nurse ignored me when I asked her 2 times if I could mix pain medications with my anxiety meds. And she kept saying oh you gotta ask the dr . And my response was no I'm just trying to be knowledgeable about my medication dosage because at this time I was in excruciating pain and I wanted anxiety meds for all the stress they were putting me under. I was all uhm no lady ur a nurse you should know about a medication question.. They had me sit hunched over in a chair for 24 + hours with my gallbladder pain. They didn't care about me . They just had to be responsible for me not dying. Oh ya and when I asked a 2 people how many gallstones I had they both yelled at me and said it doesn't matter we just need to take them out. I'm so angry and appalled by their treatment for people. The only 3 people who truly did their jobs right were the assistant nurses to the general surgeon. Only 3 people were nice to me out of the whole hospital I'm so sad to call this place a hospital! Never again am I going to be going to Clovis Community Hospital. They are not nice people. God is watching! Oh ya and the first time I got tested the very very first day at the hospital it wassss reported as me being positive for being pregnant and then they turned around and did the tests again and then said oh ya sorry whoops your not pregnant! Before I knew I had surgery I was so excited about this new found information because I have PCOS and it's a very odd hormonal disease to have ! It's hard to get pregnant and I felt like they just messed with my emotions and my head look at the pictures provided
My experience was terrible

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
