He has been an amazing Dr for my family as well as myself for the last 32years. Very caring, and full of compassion.
This is about the front desk staff, not the Doctors. My 90 year old dad has Dr. Nakata, who is a pro. Two thumbs up. His receptionist is a witch. Never helpful, never giving you any advice. Confrontational, arrogant, mean. I had to wait till she was off one day to give the Doctors office a copy of my fathers Advance Health Care Directive, because I felt she would not process it. Sure enough, next visit, she asked me about it. I told her I could show her the receipt I have proving your office has it. She sneered, and said “ as long as it’s on file.”Well then, why didn’t she check?I am glad I am not her. She loves being snarky and getting in the last word. I admit I despise her. I’m writing this in the waiting room, getting ready for pops to be seen.Every interaction with her is worse than the one before. How she keeps her job is a miracle to me.To recap; Dr Nakata is great, but he is guarded by an evil female troll.
I owe over $3,000.00 due to his office not prequalifying my insurance for an MRI back in 2016. Over and over again my insurance said to just have him change the code that he put the code in wrong. They said they would over and over again. It never happened now I'm in collections I've never been in collections before due to them not doing what they say they're going to do. The doctor told me if I change the code it look bad on me. Well being a Christian if you make a mistake you fix it. No I'm on disability I only make $600 a month and I'm expected to pay a $3000 bill due to someone not doing their job properly. This MRI was miss coded, Dr. Gonzales knew, I already had an MRI done of what the code he used! Be aware and check with your insurance for your self. Don't trust his office to do that for you.

Dr George Gonzalez was a kind and understanding doctor for me. He took time and I left feeling like I had really had my needs addressed. I would recommend him to anyone needing a family doctor.
Very efficient Dr. , loved his use of the computer for documentation and efficiency in ordering prescriptions (instantaneous). He did seem quite reluctant to order tests and needed a little prodding to do so. I am not sure for the reason behind this.

Awesome doctor. Always calm and show good support and care.
This doctor is all about money.He pats himself on the back for doing missionary work in other countries but he threatens his own patients with discharging them if they cant afford to pay their coinsurance. He will only see a limited amount of HMO patients per day. The rest must be PPO.
Dr. Gonzalez has been my doctor for a long time. He is caring, educated, prompt, and personable. He has always taken extremely good care of everyone in my family, has accurate diagnosis of illnesses and proper ways to treat them. He takes the time to comfort and care for his patients and gets to know you and your family in order to do his job to the best of his ability. He now cares for my husband and also cared for me throughout my pregnancy and delivered our first baby. We love Dr. G and would 100% suggest him to our friends and family.
Dr. Gonzalez is the most caring and most accurate doctor my family has ever encountered. We drive 35 min. one way just to be under his care. Its worth it. He has never misdiagnosed a case in my family, and many other doctors have at times been inaccurate over the years. His calm and personally concerned manner is very soothing. He has attended to our family for 14 years and I hope to retain him as our family doctor til he no longer works. I wont find another like him.
