I am really impressed with my worry free orthopaedic experience, the empathetic and knowledgeable staff, led by an intelligent and capable surgeon, Dr. Wieman is excellent.

BEST Pediatric Ortho Surgeon!!! My son's femur collapsed when he was only 6yrs old. Had problems and pain for many years. Not being able to do any activities at all, if he did it would leave him with excruciating pain. When he turned 18 he could not bear the pain anymore. He was getting ready to start UC Irvine and I had promised him that I would find a surgeon to help him. I called all the Ortho Surgeons in Hanford, Visalia, Tulare and Fresno none were willing to help my son due to him being so young. Not even Valley Children's Hospital. Just when I was about to give up hope I was referred to UCSF Fresno. And that is where we found Dr. John Wiemann. He was our Angel. After looking at my son's x-rays he immediately said he would give my son a Total Hip Replacement. My son and I were in tears. Finally my son could live a normal life that he has never experienced. He could never even dance because of his hip pain. He will be starting UC Irvine this Fall and we are so excited. He will probably be able to run to class. He just needs to remember how to run. THANK YOU again Dr. Wiemann for helping my son be pain free and live a normal life. Yes, I recommend this wonderful, kind doctor to any parent who is looking for a surgeon.
