List of Magnolia Pediatrics's Reviews
They've been great! We have received knowledgeable, compassionate care. I have 2 kids, 10 yr old who has seen Dr. O the last 4 years. And now a 6 month old who has seen Dr. G. Everyone in the office has been respectful and helpful. It is hard to get a hold of anyone by phone, which is frustrating when you have a sick kid at home. Someone needs to fix the message system options. Don't leave a message they never get it even though the system says to leave a message and they will call you back in 2 hrs. I've never gotten a call back that way. MyChart messages are the way to go if you can get the option. My foster kiddo we can not.
I love the medical professionals, but hate the front desk staff. The doctor and NP actually listen to my concerns about my children and take the necessary steps to get them the referrals and care they need. The front desk however, it's like pulling teeth to get them to do their job. Clerical work is an entry level job and a parent of the patient shouldn't need to do the footwork that a simple phone call and fax would take. Also, me having to fill out the same paperwork multiple times over the course of a few months because they failed to file it is unacceptable.
I've gone here since my son has been born. I have been ignored. I've called the office and no way to get ahold of anyone. We are working parents and we call between lunches and of course we would if they were open weekends. I understand that they are not which is totally fine. I had a experience with a new young MA Perla Saephanh who overlooked my message to try to reschedule on MyChart several times. My son has came here since he was a baby and im hesitant to move him but with this experience I've had with this new MA, is very unprofessional and made me feel like us a patients were overlooked and not taken care of. There needs to be better training and better professional staff in the front or who communicate with their patients.Im a loss for words for how many times appointments have been ignored or not even responded too. What's another way we can schedule? Im about ready to transfer my son to another Dr due to this awful experience I've had so far with Perla the new MA, and the staff that can not maintain their receptionist duties. Absolutely ridiculous. I no longer feel like this is a good office. That feeling has been thrown out the window and im concerned if my son can even be cared here with that kind of mindset of MA in the office. I will be taking this concern in regards to this MA further where this is looked into.
This place is insane!! Can’t even get ahold of someone to make or change an appointment. They put you on hold for ten minutes then it redirects you to an answering machine. The doctors are good but good luck trying to make an appointment.
Will never come back to this place. If you want to have a Doctor that don't care about your child then by all means go to them. My 14 months old baby had a fever of 107 and I took him in and I was told that they can not help me because I don't have a appointment. There was on one in the waiting room, place was empty.
Honestly the doctors here are ridiculous. They’re so unprofessional all around. They don’t care about another doctors diagnosis or credit. We lost Kaiser insurance because of money issues and had to get back on medi-cal. The doctor doesn’t believe that my daughter (who ended up in the ER twice) is allergic to milk. Secondly. She is soo behind on her shots. They don’t even care, haven’t since the beginning. She is almost 7 months and has only gotten her 2 month. They act like it’s no big deal to not take care of a baby or the mothers need. I have trouble with the heat and can’t be out at all in certain temperatures. But with them rescheduling soo much I have to accept the earliest appointment. They are always rescheduling my morning appointments for an afternoon. I’m just shocked by the lack of professionalism in this facility.
Two great providers, but the worst front office experience you could ever imagine. They NEVER answer the phone. As a working parent I can't spend twenty plus minutes on hold each time I need to make an appointment. It's so sad because the providers are great, but you never can get any help.
Place is an absolute joke don't take your kids here they're months booked out lost files man this place went downhill quick!
They canceled my daughters appointment a day before. Then they rescheduled for a month later. Obviously the staff here doesn’t care about my daughters health. She’s just a number they can plug in wherever is convenient for themselves.
We've recently moved from the East Coast to Clovis and feel absolutely blessed that we have found Dr O and Nurse Practitioner Janice. Our two children have had several health issues and since we've been here we've had two more children one of them being born 5 weeks premature. Everyone at Magnolia Pediatrics has been absolutely wonderful and the care that my children have received has been top notch. I recommend anyone looking for a good pediatrician to go to Magnolia Pediatrics. I do see several reviews that say you cannot get in touch with the office or the providers. Nothing is further from the truth. Your child has an electronic health record and in it, you can send their provider a message. The providers make certain to tell you this at every visit if you have any questions. When our son was born 5 weeks early and admitted to Children's after being released from Clovis Community, Dr. O handled all and answered messages or called us to make sure we were being taken care of the same day we asked the questions. There is absolutely no communication issues with their office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
