After being told I needed surgery by another doctor I came to Dr. Hoekzema for an evaluation and was pleasantly surprised to discover I did not need surgery. Dr. Hoekzema and his entire staff are top notch professionals and care more about the patient and the proper healing of an injury than rushing to a surgical solution. When a surgeon tells you that you don't need surgery...that's integrity. I would recommend this group to anyone.

Excellent surgeon. At every appointment he gave me his full attention and always explained in detail what was going on. The surgery went well and I had a sister who lives 8 hours away come to him for her own surgery needs. She thinks he is awesome too. He is the best!

Dr Hoekzema performed hand surgery on my hand. The results were awesome. He is extremely nice, has patience and explains everything. My sister drove 8 hours away to have surgery by him. She feels the same way.

I had the worst elbow break related to a company work injury Christmas party. Dr Nathan Hoekzema saw my injury and new it was a terrible break to the elbow as it was shattered the radial head has to be replaced. I had my surgery now have metal in my arm, the team took are of me, of course my arm will never be the same, but I can tell you I am impressed with the work that was done for my elbow. I am able to live my life one day at a time and recover the best way I can since I now have metal. I stayed at the hospital for 1 day as Dr Hoekzema new the severe pain I wouldbe In since having new hardware placed. He took excellent care of me and addresed my fears during the difficult time. Thank you Dr Hoekzema and your team for taking on this case, and doing an exceptional job well done!! I can only rate a 5 as this is the highest, but honestly you can’t rate an utter most well respected Dr who cares, shows compassion for his patients. It’s most definitely 100% x 100 times! Dr. Hoekzema is an EXCELLENT professional. Visited for a consult-only, and Dr. Hoekzema answered all questions thoroughly, expertly, and sans "automotan" too many physicians wax during office visits.HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. HOEKZEMA for current, medical information and an understanding of doctor/patient communication. Thank you, doctor!(PS FYI: Per films, slight, joint-displacement, baby finger, not caused by "arthritis." Smacked hand on door, cyst developed. Joint not arthritic pre-op. Careful not to let what seems obvious--or age--guide diagnoses!)

Dr. Hoekzema is an excellent, awesome, kind, professional & highly qualified Dr./Surgeon. He took superb care of me as I had carpal tunnel Syndrome. My surgery was out Patient at Clovis Community. Everything went smooth & timely. The actual surgerical procedure only took 10 Min. I came right home & had only minimal discomfort. No pain pills needed. Thanks to Dr. Hoekzema & the entire team at Clovis Community, too. Their motto is “I am the Patient Experience”. They all lived up to it!
