Rush's Online Review Report Card

Into my second year post prostatectomy with no evidence of recurrence after Dr. Rush warned that a o.40 followed by 0.43 PSA was hazardous, may have save dme a decade or two of life. Got MRI and biopsy , needed surgery and it was-- I hope-- just-in-time. Malignancy was confined to gland, no spread to lymph nodes "negative margins" I THINK IT's xlli. 4 tests undetectable , hope something else gets me! Only drawback, won't prescribe pain meds which is sort of the easy defensive medicine solution . Also advised home stool test to test for colon cancer, not the best method but it's better than nothing.

DR. Rush has been my primary physician for over 30 years. I appreciate his attention to detail and the many questions he ask regarding my health during my annual physical exam. He recommended that I have a colonoscopy which proved to be beneficial.

Office staff is extremely nice! Quick and easy appointments. Dr. Rush is very thourough and kind. Very personable and welcoming. We recently moved to the area and are glad we found his office.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. No bedside manner whatsoever. I don’t even want to put 1 star. Horrible doctor he was very rude. Dismissed me almost immediately. I wasn’t even in the room with Dr Rush for more than 60 seconds. He hadn’t even reviewed my medical records because when he said he didn’t feel comfortable prescribing me a medication I’ve been prescribed for over 3 years I was baffled. What kind of a Doctor doesn’t review a patients records before their consult. He didn’t even try discussing alternative options. I was looking for a new Dr. but with the way I was treated today by Dr. Rush I never will step foot in that office again and I’m not even going to look for different Doctors. That was absurd and I highly advise people to seek medical attention elsewhere. He obviously doesn’t care about your well being.I do want to say that the office associate at the front desk was very nice though.

Sam Rush is a damn good Doctor, I would recommend him to anyone,. In 2006, had chest pains, he had me follow up with a Cardiologist, I'm only here today because he listened as did I.... Some may not like his "Columbo" ( aka Peter Faulk) like personality, but your not here to make friends, but to seek advice.... If you want smiles, you can find many that claim to be "Doctors" that wear them well in your area ...trust me, those smiling doctors are best kept at a distance... Dr Rush is the real deal, weather you get a smile or not!😁

Dr Samuel Rush is not very polite, he seems to be forced to help the patient, he was not good at going out of the way. If you like doctor who seem in a hurry eveytime you visit him, Samuel is for you.

Dr. Rush has been my primary care physician for about 25 years. I needed to find a new doctor when I opened a business and had to get my own doctor who would accept my new, private coverage. I wanted a doctor of internal medicine for sure and some friends recommended him to me. Now after all of these years I look back and think how lucky I was that I found him. There are lots of things that can go wrong over 25 years that need a really good doctor's bedside manner, diagnosis and prescribed treatment. Never once in all of these years after we left his office have either I or my wife not felt that he truly cared for us and was providing the best of medical care. Finally, let me just say that Dr. Rush's office staff including, April and Yvonne are the best. One can feel that they, too, care so much about Dr, Rush's patients.
