List of Anita Bhat's Reviews
Dr. byatt is really friendly and bright. I've never had a problem and in fact her office helped my get my first constant blood glucose monitoring system libre2 which keeps me from poking my fingers for blood testing. Never had a issue with what other people low star reviews said. If your have blood sugar problems come here they helped make my life better.
Anita is a good doctor the problem is the office, no answering the phone all the time you need to leave a message they never return the call so what is the point to leave a message, I need a refill for my asma medication never happened I'm high risk. So sad because she is a good doctor but they don't know how to run the office...
I’ve been trying to call and schedule an appointment for over two weeks now; every time I call I get an answering service but never a call back so I can schedule an appointment. It’s absolutely ridiculous

Waited 6 months for an appointment and they canceled it 2 days before it was supposed to occur.
My experience is with Anita Bhat. My feeling is that if you are only looking for a place to check your lab range and get you out the door quickly, then that is exactly what they do. She has no real understanding of supplements or how they may or may not affect the thyroid. I have Hashimotos and I was taking a new supplement, Pycnogenol, to manage perimenopause. I noticed my thyroid was feeling tender but I thought I could be getting sick. I had an appt. with Anita, I asked about this supplement. She claimed ignorace to supplements. I mentioned it was not supposed to have an estrogen effect. She agreed it should be OK to take but noted my thyroid was inflamed and I had a nodule presenting. I stayed on the supplement because I thought it was helping manage my hot flashes and symptoms but within the month the inflamation is was causing in my thyroid prompted my right eye's vitreous to detach at age 48, usually happens at 70 . I now live with right eye issues. Mind you, there are only ~ 7 supplements that persons with Hashimotos should not take that she hasn't bothered to learn. She was AMAZED at the recovery of my thyroid after I went off the supplement without the slightest light bulb of connection for her.Hashimotos patients also often deal with slow digestive motility. I recently had an issue with intense biliary pain and I knew that we'd decreased my T4 medicine which can slow motility. She did not clearly state to me that we couldn't go back to my old increased dosage if my thyroid numbers were still in the range so I was upset over it and I'd been trying to increase my dose back up over a few days. So I was in 1) in a lot of pain and 2) out of sorts from increasing my med. My internist thought I could go back to the dosage. So I was venting my frustration with her over the decreased medication, which she didn't associate to my biliary issue. She told me to get Tertiary care at the hospital. I told her I might go find a new endocrinologist because I was upset over this and SHE DROPS ME. After over 6 years at her office. So now I'm dealing with an issue and looking for a new Endcrinologist.IF YOU HAVE HASHIMOTOS - please check out Izabelle Wentz and go get an Integrative or Functional medicine doctor. You'll get more help and guidance there. Turns out my digestive issues are very common with Hashimotos patients and so I'm trying to work through it now while I wait for my appt with a new Endocrinologist who hopefully will have better knowledge and EMPATHY for their patients.
Both my wife and I find the service that the entire office provides is great -- both results (hard side) and "the soft side". We have seen Anita, Joyti, and Naras ... and have become familiar with the front-end staff as well. We see them as out Primary Care Physician, although we have also utilized their expertise in sleep, weight-loss, and endocrinology. I will say, I'm disappointed to learn that the weight-loss side has gone to more of a "program" than something that is otherwise insurance-supported... her office helped me to lose about 20% of my overall body weight a few years ago -- not sure if I'd have gone down a "program" path as that's available everywhere (online)... whereas their former plan was simple and supported by my insurance provider (i.e.: fewer out of pocket costs). [Minus one star][The five-star part] // My main interaction is with Anita. She has the ability to connect with her patients and solve medical problems/issues in a very holistic way. For instance, in my case, insomnia. Rather than just prescribing Ambien and pushing me out the door, she took the time to listen to concerns and experience with past meds and said (unprompted): "let's look at this from another angle... since you can't get to sleep at night, is there a way to help you function better during the day?". This worked for me. She is open to listening to patient suggestion and has helped us find a variety of solutions that would otherwise be "off script".Since my main interaction is with Anita, when I do see Joyti, there's not the same personal connection and embedded trust, but that's understandable.Appointments are always on time. Service is prompt. Billing is simple enough. The office is not fancy and it's obviously a business, but I appreciate this obviously-apparent honesty. I'm not a fan of glitzy offices and glamorous font desk staff as it gives the indication that the priorities are elsewhere (image versus care).
This medical practice has gone significantly downhill in the last year. (1) Appointments that used to be with doctors are now with physician assistants. (2) My appointments with the P. A.’s have been changed at the last minute. (3) I don’t know who Jiva Health is but since I’ve seen that name the patient care and customer service has gone downhill. (4) I can’t get a live voice on the phone. I get put on hold and then after holding for one minute I get sent to voicemail. (5) The billing has gone to a new 3rd party billing company. They sent me a bill online with no details on the bill. When I finally got the bill in the mail, my insurance company had not been billed at all. Very little has gone right since the name has been changed to Jiva Health. I really like Dr. Anita Bhat. The problem is I never see her anymore!!
Medical Assistants messed up my RX for the3rd time. Not even sorry and always try to reason out. I am Diabetic and my first line of RX is my Metformin. They messes up insisting they have already refilled. Horrible staff. Incompetent. KristiNP and AnitaMD were fine. But the staff. Ugghh
I would highly recommend Dr. Anita Bhat. She is a very caring and skilled doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
