John Muir Physician Network's Online Review Report Card

Went to the ER and it was trash I was admitted there the took my phone while I was getting examined and they DROPPED IT  Very clumsy There is now a $300 crack in the screen They wont even pay to repair it This place sucks and I would rather had to have drives another 30 miles to the next ER DONT GO HERE I BEG OF YOU IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR AND YOUR THINGS SAFETY DONT GO HERE

This has been the most awful hospital experience I have ever encountered in my life. My husband had a kidney and tumor removed and spent 2.5 hours in pain because they couldnt reach the surgeon for pain meds. Ive had to go to the charge nurse 3 times. They got him meds but they still arent strong enough. A nurse manager came to interview us but that was it. It is 7.5 hours post op and my husband is still at a 9 for pain. I just requested a charge nurse again. Do not go to this hospital. They dont care about patients in pain and constantly make excuses as to why pain meds arent here. I have to get upset and request management before anything happens. There is no urgency and I dont get it. Kaiser was better than this. John Muir Walnut Creek was amazing last week when he had the medical emergency before surgery was scheduled. I dont understand. I know theres a nurse shortage but a person should not have to be in this much pain and not get help. I hope someone at the top of the chain for this hospital reads this review because Im getting nowhere asking questions here. God bless anyone that has to be a patient here. If I could give a zero rating I would.

Have an emergency? Do not come to this place. Worse experience ever. I came in with a child with an opening on his forehead I waited for 2 hours and nothing. I asked for help when he started bleeding again and the nurse calmly said “I do not have beds available” I told her I’ve been waiting for 2 hours and she said “so has everybody else.” The worse experience ever at a hospital. The lady at the front desk Monday 823 at 1050pm when I asked for help she gave me such an attitude telling me to wait. I told her “don’t give me such an attitude because I do not need that right now.” i complained to security how btchy the receptionist was and she apologized for it. Anyway I left the hospital without getting any help and went to another hospital that would help us. Do not come here please do yourself a favor.

This Facility is using the Covid crisis as a means to limit visitors to its patients. It is not a matter of whether a visitor is vaccinated or notJohn Muir is ONLY allowing ONE visitor per patient for the duration of the patients stay. So much for the vaccinated Family wanting to see Grandma one more time before she goes to HeavenThis policy is just a lousy excuse to limit the amopunt of work the Staff at John Muir has to do It negates the entire idea of sharing families all under the guise of Covid. Vaccinated visitation should not be restrictedThe emotional health of John Muirs patients or should we say CLIENTS is as much a part of treatment as any other physical type. It is being ignored for the sake of the Administration

I was recently at this hospital for a procedure. From the time I arrived until I left the next day I was treated with respect kindness and caring from everyone starting with the individuals at the main entrance all the staff nurses and doctors. Ive spent too much time in hospitals the past 3 years but each time Ive been at John Muir Concord and Walnut Creek Ive always received wonderful treatment and care.

Im still in the hospital post surgery for a few days. Im a physician and worked here many years ago for a short time.Remains to be seen the ultimate result of surgery but I must say Im pleasantly surprised at the quality of care by the ancillary staff. Nurses have been friendly helpful and very attentive. Bed is comfortable. Food is very good. The record in MyChart have mistakes that I will try to correct with medical records. But I give them 5 stars and would be treated there again.

I  took my kid to this Er for a possible reaction that we thought he was having.   We were there for all of 15 mins.  They sent me a $1021 bill. He never even saw a doctor. I spent the last year trying to get them to lower it and they refused.   Theyre a rip off   And their facility is trash.
