Dr. Julie Anne Cahill has been my doctor for the past 10 years. She's been through it all with me. When I first met her I had lost 4 close relatives and friends. Basically the first time in my life I had lost anyone. She took her time and walked me through those horrible months like a best friend. She was amazing while maintaining her professionalism. She is retiring in a couple of months and I feel like I'm losing someone who I can call on when I need to. She will no longer. Be there. What a huge loss. What a wonderful Doctor you have been to all your patients. God Bless you Julie.... Your truly admired.....

Dr. Cahill has been my physician for over 12 years. Because of Dr. Cahill compassion and her dedication I am still alive today. I know I have been probably been one of her most challenging and defiant patients she has ever had but she never gave hope up. It was because of her firmness with me that I decided to take care better care of myself both physically and mentally. She's very involved in every aspect of my healthcare with my other specialists and always follow up with me immediately regarding hospitalizations or ER visits. I am truly thankful everyday for Dr. Cahill.

I've had Dr Cahill as my GP for over 15 years. She has been consistently excellent in providing appropriate diagnoses and prompt, attentive follow-up. An excellent listener, she is patient-focused and asks thorough questions that assist the patient to better describe symptoms and concerns. Moreover, and not an incidental consideration, she is warm, humane, and has a sense of humor that facilitate excellent doctor-patient rapport. I feel exceedingly fortunate to have her for my GP.

Julie Cahill, MD is a physician I have known since 1986, when she was Chief Resident at Kaiser Permanente, SF. She has been my Primary Care Physician for almost a decade. I selected her as my PCP with John Muir Physician Network since I knew her clinical skills, and clinical experience were excellent. Over the past decade, my health status and health care have improved significantly as I have partnered with her. Dr. Cahill is thorough, detail-oriented, excellent diagnostician, refers me to other clinical specialists when appropriate and follows up with me on test results and referrals. She is an excellent communicator, in person, by phone, on MyJohnMuir secure online - which is my preference for connecting with her and JMPN.Several people on YELP! have rated Julie Cahill, MD with few stars - not because of her capability as a physician, but because likely JMPN policy impacts how long and who stays on a physician's panel. These YELP ratings are not helpful to a person looking at averages. If YELP can remove these, great! IF Julie Cahill had issues with patient care, communication, coordination, she would have openings to accept new patients. No such openings, since she has a full patient panel and cannot accept new patients. (BTW- I worked at both Kaiser Permanente & Dignity Health - so I can contrast care, I am so fortunate to be able to access Julie Cahill, MD).
